Perhaps, but likely the difference will be inaudible so nobody but audiophools will care.

Why, after already being temp banned, do you try and continue to stir shit up?
Is it a Greek thing? Pride? Everybody is dumb except you?
Can't you see this forum family is very peace full and try to help who ever has interest in the same thing that interest us? We don't care if you have the money to buy the best equipment possible or if you can barely afford the cash for a few caps.
There is no discrimination here but the way you are going I might have a thing against Greek.
If you can't say anything useful that contributes to badcaps and what it stands for then shut the fuck up. ( sry, I don't swear normally).

Hehe yes, he's not the only greek here.

Why can't we just ignore the somewhat rude comments?
I mean, these words don't really have emotions with them, so it is hard to tell if someone is insulting you or not. Perhaps they are not. People do have their differences.

Just chill folks, it disappoints me to see this...

The demonstration of Denial in making savings and in a way a small sacrifice so to get a worthy tool, is not an indication of acting wise.

In a forum there is confused souls and people in need to find something worthy to store in their heads as information.
Only for few in the second category I care about.

Add in the list also equipment as TV set and all sound equipment as mixers, equalizers, preamplifier s, compressors / limiters, and even condenser microphones for studio.

In the run of equipment people here are likely to be working on is .009 ohms difference in ESR going to make any significant difference in the operation of the equipment?

Or even confirm that the capacitors which you got from eBay are genuine or not.
Capacitors is an important electronic part, build under strict specifications that cheap ESR meter can not measure for all reasons mentioned all ready.

In electronics with out the proper tool at hand you can not work at all.
Therefore by getting what is needed you can finally do some work and earn money.
100% Rubbish. Cheaper meters are perfectly fine for said applications, and, in fact, for most applications.

Is it possible to test small ceramic disc capacitor with analogue meter?
                                            by chth96
I read EBOOK of Testing Electronic Component and found that

"In order to test the small blue resin coated ceramic disk capacitor which has 104 50v specification,it is possible to test this small ceramic capacitor by making use of analogue meter.
Set to times 10Kohm that has 12v output from the probe to check disorder of ceramic capacitor.
It is not uncommon that testing result of digital capacitance meter is okay,But It show shorted reading when you check it with analogue meter."

                                            Hi

I want to change the scale of an analog meter, to monitor the charge of an li-ion single cell, so the needle at the end would point 4.2 volts and the 0 on the meter would point 2.5 volts or so, i tried to add diodes or a zener in series with the meter but the changes of the ambient temperature also changes the voltage value on the meter
I wonder how i can accomplish this so the meter would be precise at any temperature ?

About a month ago we had a transformer jumper wire that burned in two different places between two transformers caused over $200 thousand dollars worth of damage to VFD drives at least 10 of them and a memory card and quite a few power supply as well

Now we have most of the equipment that got damaged back up and running except a feeder that has issues and we are waiting for some parts for

Now we also have another piece of equipment that was blowing fuses on the 110 volt controller switch circuit with the ā€œEā€ stops and one switching power (24 volt) supply and a transformer...

Reference Nvidia GTX 980 ti - looking for a new shroud
                                            by speaktorob
So a while back, to deal with the fan noise of the old blower style shrouds on the reference cards, I chucked it and installed the monster that is a Raijintek MORPHEUS 8069, with a couple Noctuas on it. Did the job but quite unwieldy tbh.

Anyone know which boards would have a compatible shroud for it? I know the EVGA used the reference board but wondering if any other manufacturers did. I want to put something sensible back on it, but I'm having a hard time getting hold of even a faulty reference board for a reasonable price.

Greetings, new guy here but always interested in the crazy universe of modding

We just finished construction of around 25 vacation houses, all inside the same private area.
Each house has 3phase power , and we bought an atlas MK10 meter for each house (25 meters total ! )

The metering on a per-house basis is done privately. Its not done by a utility company. The utility company will only charge us for the total consumption of all 25 houses together.

Id like to do a small modification on the firmware of our MK10 to make it easier identify each house's...
