              It has 3 slots.

If Asus 'wired' the sockets the proper way then you can do:

Double sided - Double sided - Empty
                  or
Double sided - Single sided - Single sided ... [Single sided must match each other ... I think...]

Funny that you should bring up Oak PC cases. I have this shoe shine boys box here that a friend of mine was going to toss out. It came from his father inlaws estate. The box still has all the original shoe polish and such in it. It has a wonderful smell from the polish. I've been kicking the Idea around in my head of making a PC case out of it. The only thing stopping me is that the box its self may have value. I've never saw one of these come up for sale.
It wouldn't be me doing the actual work on the box. My oldest brother the wood worker would be doing it for me.

There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

It came from his father inlaws estate. The box still has all the original shoe polish and such in it. It has a wonderful smell from the polish. I've been kicking the Idea around in my head of making a PC case out of it. The only thing stopping me is that the box its self may have value. I've never saw one of these come up for sale.

For the record, Lian-Li cases are godly, imho. I've only bought one but I'm hooked. It's a PC-60USB in black (so technically a PC-61) but I got some aftermarket upgrades to it like the replacement front panel jack set, replacing the stock dual USB with a unit that has dual USB plus mic, headphone jack, and firewire 6-pin jack. Just wish I could get the aluminum bracketpiece that holds it in place replaced with one that's anodized in black, and get the mount for the foam dust filter that doesn't cover 75% of the foam's surface area with metal that blocks airflow. Might post pics later in a separate thread.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

                                            Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:

I have a Panasonic TC-P54VT25 that will power on and prime the display but there is no image at all.

The panel is primed as there is a slight glow from the entire panel. This means the problem should be logic related. The service manual also confirms this and recommends replacing the A or the D board.

I have tried to get the TV to display the test sequence but I have been unable to and I don't even know if this TV has a test sequence or not.
