no, it indictates a green triangle.

how do you know a vietnamese company isnt making shit with green triangles and shipping them to wallmart?

the answer is you dont - nobody inspects safety/compliance markings anymore.
infact a lot such as D.O.T. on car lights in the u.s. and CE on stuff in europe are self-certified compliance marks.

or in english, any company can stick these marks on stuff and they promise the stuff is compliant.
no paperwork to show they actually checked, no third-party testing needed!!!

so trust nothing you havnt personally used before - that's my rule.

The triangle does indicate closer parts tolerances, and in my experience, (I have used them) it is true. We learned about this in night school about 5 years ago (residential heating and air conditioning). Then I had to drop out, go to the hospital and return for next year's class.

I don't think the hospital would choose cheap electrical outlets during construction (doctors don't want electrical fires or lawsuits).

My computer's plug fit did fit tightly (even the simplest awk script takes me forever to figure out, so it was a good learning experience and a way to pass the time -- I almost didn't mind using a dial-up modem for 3 weeks).

Links when I can find them....

        Re: Zap, zap and zap!

We bought a box of used electrical outlets from a hospital that had been remodled at an auction. I used these to replace three outlets that were daisy chianed together and always giving me problems. Its been a few years since I used these outlets and I've had no problems since.

There are two CE logos. - They look almost identical.
Only one of them means "china exported".

I go through stores and constantly get shocked when touching the shelves.

I just figure I have an electric personality......either that or I'm just shocking.

maybe it has leakage from some old under-shelf lighting tray.

if it was the states i'd also say leakage/induction from an rf-id coil!!!

No under-shelf lighting as far as I know.. BUT they do have a demo display of some high brightness LEDs sitting on top.

It's powered by a low voltage transformer and the cord just appears out the top of the shelf, so who knows what's going on below?
