What shall i replace it with ?
    250v 68000uF ????

i dont think its aluminium either.

Re: What the hell is this ?

That is 0.68 uf which is 680 nano farad or 680000 pico farad /10 = 10% tolerance
    Most likely a film capacitor
    Something like this: http://www.digikey.com/product-searc...=0&pageSize=25

      1.70 is Metallized Polypropylene

Make sure to use the same type, especially if it is used in high frequency high pulse current circuits.

          Looking for a Fuse T4AL/250V
          by Gadjet
I've got a Monitor that's not showing any video, and I found this blown Fuse. As you can see from the photos, the board location has T4AL / 250V. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks!...

Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 9. What the hell did they do?
          by FeerBaron
I am trying to enable undervolt and disable me engine. I read the bios from 2 hardware programmers and FPT. Inside FPT, all looks normal. From the HW programmers, the Flash Descriptor is shifted, nvram is encrypted? or missing and LNVSEC thing isn't visible. I thought my programmer was broken but that seem to not be the case..

          Hardware Read Header

          Normal header with FPT

          Hidden header at 0x100000

FPT of course will not write the bios region despite not being read only and no nvram editing tools can write on live system.

Alienware x15 R2 no memory detected (hell repair job, 6 months later)
          by jagiro84
          Hi guys,
its been around 5-6months since i left this board on side to rest my brain cells and now came back to try and repair it again.

The laptop in question has issue where it gives error code on power on which is 2red and 3 blue

In short, by Dell specs this means "Memory not detected: "

Now one important thing the laptop would turn on fine when i leave it in the refrigerator for 5-10min and i could work\play games with it for days and months as long as i dont turn it off
but after a while this trick stopped working as wel

NuPro A-20 Active Speaker burnt LNK 606
          by falkikowski
          Hi,
The LNK 606 on the power board for my active speaker just went to hell.
I would like to replace it, but this very model is hard for me to get. Can I replace the LNK 606 with the LNK 616 or the TYN 266?

I also attached a picture of the back side. The burnt part above R2 is a bridge, that is connected to the COM of two chunky electrolytic condensator (82 micro Farad, 400 V). I just tidied that up. Or should I worry about that?

          Thanks

          samwha capacitors 10uf 200v/250v
          by Perry Babin
The attached capacitors are used in the output filters of class D amplifiers and hold up well but when they fail, replacements are difficult to find. I've tried the various options on eBay and crossover caps and none survived. Mouser, Digi-key... don't stock many bi-polar electrolytic caps. The only thing that I found survived (never a failure) was the Mouser E2106 (part number 667-ECQ-E2106JF) and the same from Digi-key. They look different but survive. Does anyone know a readily available drop-in replacement electrolytic? The dimensions are approximately 16mm x 25mm....
