Hi it looks like everything works don't know where to test except the 390v in the 2 capacitor in the hot side of the power supply and the weird 180v in the diodes in the cold side that should be discharged it is writin on the circuit no more you can read what is written on the circuit quite srrange color mixiing yellow and white
anyhow i couldn't t read anything else
the backlight is on strong and the screen does not get dark or very dark but no pictures
the mainborad feels a bit hott on the black part i test it to 52 degree's against 34 to 40 on the rest of it

So, I got this UE40K1502AK(XXH) TV from a friend.
TV has no picture or sound, but it reacts on remote control and power button on bottom side.

- When plugged into mains, the LED is red on. If I use remote to power it on for the first time, it flashes 6x then LED remains off. I assume this would be the same as by normal tv?

I am trying to repair an ancient Dell 2209WA Monitor which suddenly shut off with a pop sound. On investigation found that one of the fusible resistors had blown. Further investigation identified multiple components as faulty because of which the fusible resistor blew. Hi, I'm looking for a bit of help trying to fix the audio unit from a Maestro Mayhem 4.1 gaming chair please.

The chair has a few speakers and vibration motors. All was well, for a while, but now the sound is gone.

It may be significant that I discovered my son was powering it with a 19V laptop charger when it should run on 12V - it did fully work, for bit.

I think an issue could be a zener diode (or capacitor) which has shorted out.

Testing for power at the fuse or on the rails is one thing but i think he placed tbe coils over the Chips/BGAs to show that they were actively processing signal (ie current flowing through them) even though nothing was showing on the display.

Many T-Cons do not have status LEDs on them so there is no way to know if they are functioning or not unless the TV throws a blinking code.

The unit is stuck in an intermittent on/off cycle. When I plug in the power cord, the green "On" light activates without any command, flashes for a few seconds, then turns off. The red standby light comes on for a few seconds before the cycle repeats. In short, pressing power button:
- power led turn on for 17 seconds
- nothing more (black screen, fan not spinning, no sound)
I've already:
- cleared CMOS
- changed RAM

Before we get too far into the weeds with this TV, Does the TV reboot completely? or does the TV continue to operate WITH SOUND but a black screen?

And please be clear: When your TV stops working properly, is the screen black and completely without backlights? or is the screen black with no image but backlights are actually on? Your original post does not say.

The fact that you posted a screenshot of the self-check screen indicates your problem may not be a backlight. This may be a mainboard problem where TV mainboard works until it craps out.

Unsoldered the BIOS Chip, read+read+read...4 times, checked with certutil CMD, everything was fine. Used the autopacher on the bin file, write it on the Chip and again 4 times read and checked with certutil, again everything was fine. Resoldered the Chip on the MB, 15-20 minutes to put the laptop back together 😭 I hate this models... Plugged in and ... nothing. The defect is the power board capacitor near the backlight connection. It is the same defect. Look for a bulged cap. Read this thread for more info as it's same defect.

I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 that will not power on. The indicator flashes red 3 times.
I do not hear any sound and I cannot see any backlight.
I have tried disconnecting every cable on each board one at a time to see if anything changes.
The only change is when I disconnect AC-DET cable on the Power Supply board or on the other end if I unplug the CN7009 connection on the B-Board and try to power on the TV the indicator will stay on solid green until I power off.
My friend ordered another used power supply board but it is also doing the red indicator flash 3 times...
