                                  Hello

As the saying goes, if you surround yourself with good and smart people, some of that will rub off. So, I hope I can get a bit smarter here and may also be able to help others. For now though I could probably only share what not to do! My interests would be my family and trying to start a hobby with old hot rods, now that the 2 sons are moved out, I might be able to afford it. Way more expensive today than when my Dad was into it in the '60s & '70s.
                                  From my favoritest movie ever!:
Cledus Snow: Can I ask you a question?
Bo Darville: Sure, ask me what?
Cleedus: What the Hell do we want to go to Texas for and haul beer back here? What is that?
Bo: For the good old American life. For the money, the glory, and the fun. Mostly for the money.

                                    Hi,
I'm Jim from Chicago searching for some Plasma TV answers. I'm not a technician by any means, but I know enough to get myself into trouble and then eventually, after many wasted hours...with a few scraped knuckles, wasted parts and fried nerves later, get myself out of trouble and get it fixed.
Mechanical stuff I can diagnose pretty well...but electronics I need all the help I can get. If someone tells me what to measure, swap or re-solder, I can do it.
Thanking you all for your help in advance.
                                    Jim
