If I disconnect connector CN2561 on the main board as shown in the picture attached and jump the 3.3STBY pin to POWER ON all the voltages on the power board are correct and the backlight turns on. As soon as I plug CN2561 back in the backlights turn off....

Hi All

I have a 40" Sony Bravia TV & Blueray KDL-40EX43B. During its life it didn't really get used much (max twice a week) so it was a bit of a surprise when one day it didn't turn on.

The story so far, at first a DVD got stuck in the drive and every time I tired to turn the TV on the green light came on but no picture or sound, not even a boot logo or backlight. After turning it on and off a number of times I managed to get the DVD to eject and the screen turned on. Then after that time it has never booted again.

So after checking the voltages...
