JVC LT-43C890(a) wont turn on, flashing red light

Have a JVC LT-43C890(a) that no longer turns on, just red flashing standby light.

Just wondering if its likely to be Power or Main board? All caps etc look good ok on quick visual inspection.

Also, when sourcing replacement power boards for these Vestels, do all numbers need to match? Or just the main generic board no. (i.e. 17IPS72)

have you got a led tester just to rule out the leds i have just worked on a panasonic tv using same mainboard and psu numbers my set had bad inter connecting led strip joints

Just isolate and check power board for correct stable voltages.

I didnt think would be backlights as thought would be sound, no pic, as opposed to going into protection mode and not turning on

my set didnt have sound either? i persumed it was on a hdmi input if you go for new led strips on ali there about £26.00 delivered to the uk my set had 2 strips of 8 leds 2 strips of 10 leds one of the easiest panels i have stripped down.(my set was a panasonic 43in 4k) just waiting on a tcon board then hopefully set will be finally finished.

Ah this one was fine except a bad connection on one of the strips. Cleaned up, reseated, and was fine.

mine was the top one but cleaned all 4 can you do me a favour when youve rebuilt the set go into settings and see if you can lower the backlights mines at 100% and greyed out so cant be altered

Same on this one, greyed out, I find that on alot of Vestel sets for some reason

Probably a money making scheme? Backlights always 100% so burn out quicker. They drop to 80% if set to Cinema, but still greyed out

think if i remember correctly, if you set picture to dynamic the LED option becomes available

A resistor modification can work to bring it down also.
