LG 43UK6470PLC No Picture
LG 43UK6470PLC, TV powers on, backlights illuminate, has sound, but no image, just blank screen.
Have tried unplugging Left and Right ribbon cables one by one, no change at all.
Just wondered if its a dead panel, or possibly something else, as previously when I have looked at TVs with dead panels, unplugging one or the other ribbon cables has given me half a screen.
Any help grately appreciated.... -
I remember reaading a while back, someone advising to pull the tabs off the side of the screen? Can anyone confirm if this could be an option?Leave a comment:

Samsung UE55JU6800K No Picture
Samsung UE55JU6800K with no image on screen.
I have had this TV many years without fault, however aprox 6 months ago I fitted a new set of backlights as some of the lens caps had fallen off.
Was working fine, until 3 days ago, when watching TV the screen just went blank (still illuminated)
I turned the TV off and left it around 12 hours, and when turned it on again it seemed to work perfectly again. After around 45 mins the screen went blank again.
Left it off overnight and turned it on, and the Smart TV logo came on as normal, then screen went blank.

I have done what you said, and yes it was black underneth.
I had a spare basic Citroen CD player, so I desoldered the part out of that, and soldered it into this unit.
It now has sound

Thats the one, unfortunately Id already been through all the settings etc.
Given that video is 5 years old, Id guess that the unit is around that if not older.
Was worth a try, to try and get it going since everything else worked, but alas I am beaten lol...Leave a comment:

Yeah I have tried it in a different car to eliminate it being the vehicle and speakers etc .

Car Headunit (Chinese?) No Sound / Audio
Just bought a car that has a stereo in, thats bluetooth etc, and powers on fine and all functions seem to work, BUT there is no audio/sound.
I have tried another unit in the car that works fine, so know it definitely a problem with this unit.
I know it just cheap rubbish, probably of chinese origin, but its really bugging me just throwing it away and replacing it 🙈🤣
I know zero about things like this, ans its probably unfixable, or more trouble than its worth, but just wondered if there was anything to check, as what could lead to an easy-ish fix? Havnt opened... -
