Just got this TV, boards seem to power on, at least main board shows light on the optical audio output, the led on front of set is on and there is a blue led on the t-con board. Sound is there when I press the power button and make selections in menu, but nothing on screen, doesnt seem to have anything with flashlight test either.....Any help would be great. Thanks!

Re: Samsung UN48H6350AF Black Screen w/ sound
No AC to TV then disconnect the cable between the power supply and the main board then apply AC to the TV, do the backlights to come on and stay on as long as the AC is present?
We also need to to get the Voltage readings (all boards connected) of all the pin of the power supply connector that goes to the main board, there are two rows of pins, the odd number pins are the exposed pins you can get to from the top side of the board, the even number pins you need to get to them via the wire entrance of the connector.
You MUST put down pin name and follow by the Voltage reading for each pin when Power switch is off and when power switch is activated.

Ok, sorry, I thought the PIN numbers were the names. Are the actual "names" labeled on a table on the board itself?
Thanks!Comment

If you look at the pinout chart, you will see pin number and the name of the pin, just edit your post to add pin names.Last edited by budm; 05-31-2019, 10:16 PM.Never stop learning

"4: BLU ON/OFF: 0.09" Main board is not sending the command signal to turn on the backlights circuit.

Re: Samsung UN48H6350AF Black Screen w/ sound
Could try reflowing the bga chip, trick is to heat it enough to melt the solder under the chip, overheating can kill it, usually the fix don't last too long but if it works after the reflow, you know what the problem is. Here's one example on an lg, there's probably plenty more that go into greater detail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfVnVl6Q0skComment

Re: Samsung UN48H6350AF Black Screen w/ sound
Are you suggesting the pins on pages 5-7 and 5-8 of all the connections? are there specific areas of the board I should focus on and look for particular voltages? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
I'd rather try to troubleshoot it this way before trying to re-flow the BGA.....Comment

So I tried following those steps and testing/troubleshooting, but some of the steps did not make sense or I couldnt find the components that were referred to on some of the steps.....I did get some readings though....The first one looks suspect to me, but not sure what that eludes to.

by MgiffuneI have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and... -
by AudezeI have a 2019 75" x950g, and while playing a movie, the screen suddenly went dark in a weird way, where it faded towards one corner into being fully black. Now the TV turns on, and the backlight comes on, but there is nothing displayed except black. Sound still comes through the TV speakers, and i have tried doing a hard reset using the volume - and power buttons while plugging the display back in, but it did not fix it. I can confirm that pressing buttons on my remote is still doing "something" because I'm hearing sound still, even though the screen is black.

I am a pro and I have a problem that I have never seen despite my 7.5 years of experience on my own and my thousands of repairs, on a customer's Dell G3 15 3500.
On this PC I have already changed the complete palmrest because the keyboard was no longer working properly.
I also changed the screen because the PC fell and the screen was broken.
I changed the battery with a new and original battery.

by totofGood morning.
I have a problem with my LG Smart 43UF640V TV. It starts, the backlight comes on but nothing is displayed on the screen and there is no sound.
I thought it was a TCon problem and ran various tests. If I disconnect one or the other of the cables from the tcon to the panel then the screen is white on the side where the cable is disconnected and black on the other side. If the two cables are disconnected the screen is completely black.
In the 4 configurations I measure exactly the same voltages on the tcon card (model V15 43UHD TM120 Ver0.4) :

by RozpHello Everyone,
This is my first post so I will try to be as precise as possible without making this post too long winded. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the original problem but I included images of the TV internals.
I have a Sharp 70LE660U. The problem started a few months ago with the bottom row looking out of sync and was dark on the left side and then fading to transparent on the right side. Shortly after, a dark cloud appeared in the center of the screen. The dark cloud started small and shaded but the image was visible. It also affected the menu area.... - Loading...
