I would appreciate knowing where I can find the data sheet for SMD components WP9F and WP9U.
The 3 terminal WP9F, SOT23 component is from a RCA / Proscan LED TV.

Yeah I am still around, just busy...
let me guess... you don't have any panel power on that LVDS connector next to it, right? It is probably some lower power mosfet.

I had the same thing happen on a diy lcd controller. I accidentally sent 12v to a 5v panel fried the lcd conroler and panel 5v regulator. If you really had to you could connect a diy lcd controller. Im just hopeing it didnt take out panel . if its a 12v panel i think it should be ok. Can u you get a pic of the lcd model.code?

That wp9 P-channel mosfet is a WPM3407C The (F) and (U) sorry, are the month codes
The (H)1A is a MMBT3904 I believe (H) is the date code

Yes sir that is correct.

All the WP9*'s are the same type of P-channel mosfet WPM3407C.

I replaced a WP9F with a WP9U and the WP9U overheated and burned up.
Thanks for confirming the WP9F and WP9U are the same type of p-channel mosfet.

Please help with a blue screen on this RCA RLDED4633A-D TV

I have 5v standby
I have 12v supply

When the TV is turned on I only get a blue screen


The Power Button is working normally for on/off control
All other Control buttons have no control
