        Re: Vestel BL-On/Off how to

normally you would jump ps/on to 5v and bl/on to 5v, (pending make and so forth) with 1k resister.
ps/on turns on your other voltages and bl/on is the on command for the backlights.

          +1

If the schematic for 17IPS12-R3 is similar to your power supply then jumper ST_BY to +5V_STBY and also BL_ON-OFF to +5V_STBY

              Re: Vestel BL-On/Off how to

That would be brilliant. There is a thread at the top of page 1 for EEPROM dumps.
It would be excellent if the mainboard model number, IC location and part number along with screen model number was given along with the dump file.

I'm sure the forum users would be very pleased with anything you could offer

the more eeprom dumps the better.

also having your user name in the eeprom thread will make it easier to ask if you have access to a particular eeprom.

                thanks heaps.

                        Hello!
I am in despair with a Vestel 17IPS12 power supply.
With the TV, the backlight just stays off.
( Backlight tested with backlight tester = IO)
12V on the secondary side are there and constant. Voltage of the backlight is when switching on once briefly at about 60-70V and then drops slowly. (up to about 36V I have observed it whether it then drops further I do not know).
But I am sure that the problem is on the primary side, because the DC high voltage is only at 295V. I expected about 330V (with an input of 230V 50Hz).
I checked the mosfet in the component...

                        Any help appreciated!...

Hello everyone from Italy, I'm here to ask for help on a Vestel TV, I've had a Vestel TV branded "XD" with a broken screen for years, but now I've found a Telefunken (still Vestel but older) and I've mounted the panel on the "XD" TV, it works, but the screen is upside down, given that Vestel does not allow you to rotate the image from the service menu, does anyone know how to solve the problem? the original panel is marked ves315WNDS-2D-N12 while the main board 17mb110, the panel I mounted instead in the tv (from the telefunken) is a ves315WNDA-02. ... It is not worth repairing...

Hello, board 17MB140TC, I need to change the remote control in Vestel tool box 1.1. The original is there
Rc48xx_2D and I want to install TOSHIBA-Rc481xx, but the program says that a maximum of 9 characters can be entered. I only entered Rc481xx and the program does not accept the driver I have in the original. Does anyone know how to do this? Other Vestel codes work.
