Hello!
I bought 3x PS4 slim in the hope that I can repair all three so I can sell two and have one for free.
All three had the error that no picture is outputed but the LED lights up white.
I have already replaced the HDMI encoder IC and one PS4 is working straight away.
It seems to be a different error with the others.
I have measured everything that I can measure in the installed state. There are 5V, 5.1V, 2.4V, 3.6V, 1V, 2V. I can't see any differences between the working PS4 and the defective ones.
I have measured the HDMI port and all PINs have approximately...

Here is the link to the dump.
Would you tell me what you are looking for or how you test whether it works or not?

So here I am again, reporting back.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to it earlier.
I have ordered a new KLM8G1GEAC-C021 and have been able to read it with the adapter (takes about 10 minutes)
If someone could upload the content for the emmc of a working ocb somewhere, then I would try to unsolder the presumably defective one and solder in a new one.

Thats the supported device list for my programmer. (searched for KLM8G1GEAC)
I already ordered a KLM8G1GEAC-C021 (I dont know what the -C021 is for and whether its important or not)
I think I'll get around to putting the emmc (the one with -C021) into the programmer at the beginning of next week and see if it basically works.
Then I would get back to you and ask again about the content for the emmc....

No, I don't have such an adapter. I have one for desoldered emmc's https://a.aliexpress.com/_EIw202z
I have programmed various microcontrollers but have not yet done anything with emmc's.
If the OCB wasn't so expensive, I would remove the emmc from the good one and give it a try.
If someone has the program, then I would unsolder the emmc from the defective OCB and solder a new one on. Can I get this program somewhere?https://No, I don't have such an ada...ave programmed

My TV is now running again but I have a defective ocb and a defective TV mainboard lying around.
I would like to repair this.
I have measured Vdrop on all major components and they are the same, so I think it is a software error. I have read out all winbond ICs with my CH341a and compared the files from the defective and healthy board. The files are exactly the same size and have exactly the same content.
there is still an emmc Samsung KLM8G1GEAC-C021 on the ocb.
I suspect that this emmc is defective (or has defective sectors). Can I somehow read it out without desoldering...

So you are all informed:
I tried another cable and everything works fine again.
So in my case there was a broken TV mainboard, a broken ocb and a broken cable.
The tv does not work with only one or two of this things replaced.
I assume the repairshop the TV was first brought to put all his defective parts in it and told the customer its not fixable.

I bought a new OCB. Saw that the previous owner had it running. Connected it to my TV and now get sound but still no picture. When the OCB is connected, the background lighting stays off. But even with a bright construction spotlight, no outlines are visible. So it seems that the backlight is off AND no picture is displayed.
Any ideas?...

Samsung 55HU8590 UE55HU8590 maybe one connect box ocb
Hello!
I have a TV that I can't get any further with.
It is a Samsung UE 55HU8590 with one connect box.
When I turn on the TV without the one connect box, the animation on the TV tells me to connect the ocb.
As soon as I connect it, the TV restarts (panel goes dark) and the TV tries to start continuously (relay on the SMPS clicks about every 3 seconds).
Since the TV works without ocb, I assume that it can't be the PSU?!
I have measured all contacts of the one connect cable against GND on the ocb board and there is no short circuit anywhere.
Is there...

Re: Vestel 17IPS12
One leg of the optocoupler probably had no contact. Now the TV is working again.
So it was probably only the optocoupler. The old one had a voltage drop of 0,5V, although the datasheet says maximum 0,2V. With the new one it is about 0.1V and now everything works fine again.

Vestel 17IPS12
Hello!
I am in despair with a Vestel 17IPS12 power supply.
With the TV, the backlight just stays off.
( Backlight tested with backlight tester = IO)
12V on the secondary side are there and constant. Voltage of the backlight is when switching on once briefly at about 60-70V and then drops slowly. (up to about 36V I have observed it whether it then drops further I do not know).
But I am sure that the problem is on the primary side, because the DC high voltage is only at 295V. I expected about 330V (with an input of 230V 50Hz).
I checked the mosfet in the component...

Re: LG 60pn6506 Plasma
Replaced the broken parts.
Found 15V missing.
Replayced the parts mentioned in this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=69738 (post 12)
Seems like all voltages are present (if I have not overlooked anything) but TV does not start (even just patterntest via "TCON" does not start)
"TCON" flashes 3x short 1x long
Voltages measuared:
printed vs. measuared
PSU
17V 17V (to mainboard)
M5V 5,2V 5,2V
VA 55V 55V
VS 202V 202V...

Re: Lg 65UB950V No Image
Just heat the yellow marked area for about 30 seconds (after you take off the soft pads) and then you can test it.
If that works, then you can let it cool down completely and try only one IC etc. Then you can narrow it down.
On mine it was on the red marked one as far as I know. But it is already 2 weeks ago....

Re: Lg 65UB950V No Image
I had a 65LA on me the other day with similar issues.
After you have removed the thermal pads, you can use a hair dryer to heat the CPU on the motherboard a little (10-30 seconds was enough for me) and then try to start the TV.
It worked for me.
I then reflowed the CPU and the TV ran until the "customer" picked it up and put it in his car.
Screen breaked....
