Bush LED3217HDCNTD flashing red light no picture

hi asking for help again guys
just got this non working Bush LED3217HDCNTD smart tv given to play with, it was going for scrap otherwise
Powered it up, red led flashes several times, backlights come on but no picture, red led continues to flash
after about 25 seconds backlights go off and it reboots same again no picture but backlights on and flashing led
quick checks i have done have found 24v on power board and 12v at the input fuse on the screen lvds driver board. Mainboard processer is getting warm
not done any other checks as not sure where to start looking
any ideas please

337v at cap C116
12v at the 3 diodes and 24v at the four diodes
I am thinking mainboard or firmware, but I am probably wrong, I usually am

So the SMD Fuse F1 on that T-CON board is good and getting 5V or 12v at both end of the fuse?

You could try heating/freezing eeprom U10? and see if it boots up.

ok update
just followed a tip off reeceyburger123s video on youtube and froze the ic chip with an upside down can of air
tv has booted up and is working now both picture and sound, although have not tried turning it off yet and rebooting, not sure if i dare turn it off yet.
what do i do now, there is obviously some software glitch on the mainboard or is it a faulty ic chip
any ideas now as to what i should do

thanks dskall seems that is what i was doing as you messaged, yes it has booted but not sure what to do with it now

If you can get a programmed chip. Otherwise you will need eerprom programmer. Not expensive. You can then freeze chip read it and write it to new eeprom.

Factory reset it via the service menu NOW DO NOT TURN IT OFF !

Press menu, 4725 then down to diagnostics then down to factory reset then press ok it might fix it DO NOT LET IT GO OFF IT WONT BOOT AGAIN !

If you can get a programmed chip. Otherwise you will need eerprom programmer. Not expensive. You can then freeze chip read it and write it to new eeprom.

Not that easy on these they use a dual boot

Already done yesterday as you suggested Reece factory reset, also as per one of Reecce's videos I put a blank formatted usb drive in the side slot and copied tv's files to it via the service menu, so think now I have got the firmware for it on usb.
However the tv still seems to be booting up ok, restarted it maybe a dozen times yesterday evening with no restart problems, and have just now booted it up this morning, still ok.
Fingers crossed it will be ok now.

Good stuff reset it a few more times after you restart it loads though just to be safe

If fault does resurface. the flash dump is in the eeprom thread.

hi tv still seems to be ok, on third day now and it has restarted every time so far, thanks for all the help guys
