Help finding replacement LED's for TV backlight

Hi, I have a PENDO 48" TV, Model "PNDLFHU48" with an LED back light, it has 3 blown LED's on the strip that I need to replace but I don't know the exact specs or type of LED, is someone able to link me a web site where I can them please? I've tested them all and the rest of the strips are still working :-) I'm capable of replacing them on the PCB I just can't find them online :-( I've attached pictures of the LED's.

In the first picture, positive is on the left end and neutral is on the right end of the LED.

John;nobody knows who makes that brand, your best bet is to order some of these and try to replace the burned led on your strips and wish for the best,
in your case those strips should have printed on the the info if not your out of luck.
you also could contact jimmys.com and give them all the tv info and see if they can find out which led strips are good for that Modle #.

Yes, I plan to replace the burnt LED not the hole strip that would be hard to find, a TV repair tech friend here in Australia said he thinks it's an LG panel and that each strip runs on 24V, so will those LED's on ebay be the correct voltage?

The one you found on aliexpress is the same type but for a 32inch, each strip on mine is made up of 2 halves connected together, one with 5 LED's and the other with 6, picture attached.

I tested the LED power connector and it was giveing a reading around 55V, does that sound right to you?

                      Hi bhatti76,
I haven't gotten around to my repair lately as I've been away for the holidays.

I plan to try the LED's in the eBay link below however they'll take a while to arrive before I can say there're a good replacement or not :-)

The repair was successful so far, hopefully it lasts, just remember to get the polarity right, I used a 2x AA battery holder to test the leds and polarity :-) forgot to take a picture of the replaced leds sorry :-)

Next time you have it apart post a picture of the tcon board with the label. That will make it a lot easier to determine who made the panel.

Hi I am having an issue with the LED backlight of this TV. I can see the picture with a flash light, so I determined it was a backlight issue.

Initially, after opening it I found 2 shorted and 1 open LED on 2 strips (total of 4). I removed the LEDs and shorted the pads together to verify if the backlight would work.

Testing it, I found the backlight turned on and I measured 54V when TV was in standby (off), and 100v when TV was turned on. The 4 strips each contain 9 LEDs, so 36 in all minus 3.

Instead of putting it back together I decided to replace...

                              by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                              Assuming...

Soooo, I found someone giving away their 70" Vizio TV because it wouldn't turn on. Hoping it would be just some bad caps, I snapped it up. No dice. No bulging caps. TV would start consuming about 7W immediately after plugging it in, but no response from the remote or power button. Thermal showed the main chip on the mobo getting warm and nothing else. Power supply appeared to deliver stable 12V to the mainboard.

I ordered a replacement mobo(actually both mobo and PSU just to be sure) and popped it in. Picture! Sound! Endorphins! Then I noticed three long dark strips. Hmmm, had...

So... I have the patchy back light issue with my Visio M70, meaning some light up, others do not. I finally got around to testing the LED driver board and found that was not the issue (swapped another one in and the same issue persisted) and I am considering if i dare dive deeper into this TV and go after the LED strips.

Right away i see that they don't seem to stock them anywhere out there (E700DLB0016-002) is a part number that i see a you tube / seller guy list out. He has a nice video of how to get into my exact TV out there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AcUPiN83Tg

This tv is with sound but no picture. When light shines on the screen, we can see the image. This is a typical backlight problem. I opened it and found quite a lot of the leds are damaged. But the damaged ones are all shorted. No one is open. Is there a special reason? (From my past experience, both can be happened)

When I supply 3V to each of the good leds, the currents range from 105mA to 154mA. From these figures, I think the leds are 3V and about 0.5W. I plan to replace all the damaged leds only (because the price of the led strips is very expensive), but I could not find 3V 0.5W...
