Hi guys, I changed my backlight to a 5g in Samsung but the broken leds burned the thick plastic panel . I give the photo. Do you think if I try to rotate the panel, with the botton on the top I have a good image? Becacause now how u can see, on the light color I sse the leds because of the burned on the plastic diffuser.

Maybe try a tv repair shop, they may have saved one they can sell you. If you find one make sure you keep the backlights set to 60 percent or less to avoid melting the new sheet. Have seen some more resistant sheets for sale on aliexpress but who knows exactly which one you would need. Might be pricey too haven't looked in a while.Comment

Likely MU or KU will work. Just needs to be edgelit. I know MU is edgelit in america, KU also might be but I can't remember NU will also work. AU8000 would probably work also. Although the diffuser is slightly thinner on that model.Comment

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....-

by hollox123Hello, I have an "ASUS ROG Strix G713QR" laptop, and for approx. 3 months I have the following problems:
1. Laptop keyboard doesn't work
2. The backlight on the laptop keyboard doesn't work
3. The x2 side LEDs (red) on the laptop don't work
The power button works, the touchpad works, and all the USB, HDMI, Ethernet, etc. ports work.
I already tried to reinstall all the drivers and reinstall Windows. So I don't know what to try anymore that is software-related.
But I am strongly aiming that it is somehow a BIOS-related problem,... -
Hello everyone,
I am troubleshooting a Schenker XMG NEO 17 (M22), which is based on a Tongfang chassis (likely GMxRGxx series, 2022 model). Specs: AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX / NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti (16GB).
The Incident: The original LCD panel developed an internal short circuit (measured shorts across almost all rails on the panel side). This caused a catastrophic failure in the backlight circuit on the motherboard:- The backlight fuse was blown.
- The P-Channel MOSFET which switches the 19.5V backlight rail was destroyed. Measured nearly 0 Ohm between Source and Gate and 240 Ohm

by signal.questI have a Panasonic LED TV TC-40A420U. The TV was given to me as an attempt to fix or throw out. I replaced the Backlight LEDs and now the screen lights up, but there is no image/display. If I play with the up/down buttons I can get the display to change from black to garbled. I can't get sound from HDMI but not sure of what input is selected. I have no remote control. When I connect a laptop to the HDMI ports it recognizes a Panasonic TV for display and sound output but I can't see or hear anything through the TV. This makes me think the mainboard is OK, but not sure if mainboard can...2 Photos

by TR103I have a Samsung 8K TV (2018), model QE65Q900RAL. The TV does not power on and there is no backlight. The standby LED is on normally. After pressing the power button, the LED turns off, but after approximately 10 seconds it flashes an error code: 1 blink, which indicates a mainboard issue. After that, the TV enters a boot loop: the relay inside the One Connect Box clicks and the cycle repeats.
I checked the mainboard and both backlight driver boards. All voltages appear normal, there are no shorts, and there is no visible damage.
The backlight is controlled via a flat...3 Photos - Loading...
