So... I have the patchy back light issue with my Visio M70, meaning some light up, others do not. I finally got around to testing the LED driver board and found that was not the issue (swapped another one in and the same issue persisted) and I am considering if i dare dive deeper into this TV and go after the LED strips.
Right away i see that they don't seem to stock them anywhere out there (E700DLB0016-002) is a part number that i see a you tube / seller guy list out. He has a nice video of how to get into my exact TV out there: [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AcUPiN83Tg[/url]...

Replaced the Bridge rectifier as suggested by selldoor - it was testing open between the ac negative and the DC negative. the replacement one i got did not, so it seems that was a broken piece. All 8 caps in center section of board replaced now as well. When i put her all back together, still no picture, however, i can plug it in now w/o blowing a fuse and i the power LED light to go from blue to amber. When i attach the monitor to a video card, windows detects it and recognizes its max resolution - so that means some of the logic is alive...

So, I have a power supply that is blowing the 4A 250V fuse repeatedly. This occurs without anything connected to the power supply but the power, so i am pretty certain a problem lies there. As a first cheap step - I am going to replace the above caps and see if my results change.
I have gathered from some of the other posts here that a bad Mosfet can be a culprit - anything else that can be tested easily on this board to narrow down whats causing the fuse to blow (instantly once power is connected). I have...
