Yep, numbers match on that board.

How confident are we based on the info I've provided? I know it's only £25 but I don't want to tell them to buy it if it doesn't solve the issue.

well see what the others think too first ive never used that ebay seller there quite new looking at the feed back but do offer a returns policy.
but usually a missing bl-on voltage is a mainboard issue.

What Lcd panel is it ? You have to match the board to the panel but if the Psu connector is the same it will work but you need to match the panel first.

Is the panel the LG board: LC320WXN?

All the numbers on the main board match the board Vince listed and it was listed for the same model Sharp.

How do I match the panel to it?

Maybe ask the ebay seller did they note the panel number from the set that the mainboard comes from failing that its a chance you take really when buying it but as its listed for the same set i would personaly take the risk and buy it.

Hi all, long time no visit I am dragging up this old thread as I have a question regarding the board. Vince mentions socket PL804 as not being in use on this set BUT I was wondering if anyone knows what it was used for ( Maybe on on other sets) I have looked
at a range of sets with this Vestel Board and havent spotted anything.
It is 6 pins 12v 12v Gd Gd 5v 5v and is on the schematic.

Have added a pic (not my Board) to show position of PL804

OK, so I'm still alive.

The filter cap read 399v when plugged into the mains. I was surprised here that I needed the mains cable plugged in and the black power cable from the logic (?) board plugged in and switched on, but that's just my lack of understanding I guess.

The voltages below were all read when plugged into the mains and with the rocker power switch on the back of the TV 'on'. The TV will not switch in and out of standby so these are the only readings I could get.

PL802 - do the two readings for pins 11 and 12 look ok?

PL816 - Pin 13, 20 and 26 don't look quiet right according to schematic?

On my TV I have exactly the same fault and the same voltages on PL816 except for no 12v and no 5v bl_on still a main board fault?
