Tips or tricks to identify cracked LCD panels on dead units?
Anyone have any tips on spotting cracked LCD panels on units that wont power up?
I recently bought a lot of a couple dozen flat screens and discovered there were more cracked displays then I was originally able to see, which is ok, I am still money ahead.
Now I have a handful of units sitting here that are dead due to power supply or mainboard issues. Starting to second guess myself weather to sink the money into them for replacement parts only to find out I have more cracked panels.
About the only tip I know is to look at them very carefully at all sorts of different angles using various bright lighting.
Just wondering if there were any other tricks I could use to spot them?
