17PW16.2 Blowing Mains Fuse But Nothing S/C

Unsure what is causing this, checked most of the parts I will list what I checked. There is no ohms between the live and neutral terminals which probably means there is no short on the input side (normally) and nothing on the output is shorted. Fuse explodes very fast as soon as power is applied. Any ideas chaps ?

Tested so far for ohms non test S/C or O/C even leaky:

    D866
    D846
    D845
    Ac rectifier
    All ac input components
    Ic806
    Ic802
    Ic807
    Ic825
    Ic828
    Ic809 (opto)
    Ic811 (opto)
    Ic801 (opto)
    R830
    C920
    C819

All parts listed are common failures on these but all are good. I literally cantfind what is causing this. Any ideas are appreciated.

An exploding fuse is definitely a sign of a major short circuit. Surely it should show up as a s/c on your meter. Has a diode gone down in the bridge rectifier?

Test in Ohm mode, so the two inner pins of the bridge show high resistance? The two outer pins of the Bridge show high resistance?
You should put lamp in place of the fuse so you will not keep blowing new fuse, run the board by itself and if the lamp glows brightly and stays on bright you still have shorted circuit.

Sorry bud I didnt phrase that properly, the bridge diode tests fine. Every diode in it tests normal as they should for an Ac rectifier. Also thanks for the schematic will have a mess with it see if I can find anything down the line bad

Yes I have checked the Fan Pfc control Ic on all pins to ground, I should have labelled everything in the description. The Pfc Ic tests fine normally that only blows if the Pfc fet shorts which it is not.

Got be overlooking something, for the fuse to explode it will be the PFC MOSFET or the bridge, IC806, the two MOSFETS for the 24V SMPS are in series (1/2 Bridge drive setup) so both of them have to be blown. What was the history on this supply, some one work on it before you? Disconnect the two outer pin and see if the fuse is still blowing.

                                          Hi,
ive picked up a Samsung UE32F5500AK TV with a BN44-006056A power pcb.

It was reported as `blowing the fuse` - the 3A one in the plug.

on quick inspection of the power pcb, a ceramic capacitor CM802 has blown apart.. photo attached.

Ive found a PDF of the circuit schematic and can identify the neighbouring components (RM801, RM802) but cannot find CM802 on the schematic.

Can anyone identify what CM802 is ?

                                          thanks.

                                          Looking for some assistance please.
Trying to repair a PD27AOQ samsung power board.
Initially had the typical problem of cm806 capacitor blown, additionally thermistor NT801s blown.
Replaced the ceramic capacitor, str60252s, bridge rectifier, thermistor and fuse.
Testing it the fuse blows immediately power is turned on.
diodes dm852 and dm853 test as shorted when in the board but fine when removed.
any assistance, guidance would be appreciated.

Hello, I disassembled this dead camera, and found this WTF… Two fuses soldered one above the other !
I was pretty sure nobody touched it before, but that can't be from factory. There is flux, and capacitor is probably missing.
                                          The other weird thing : the fuses are « G » fuse : (0.75A – 8V), seems very low. The original fuse should be « O » : (32V 2,5A).
There is « O » mark beside. All fuses have the same mark letter on main board. So, I can deduce it's a « O » fuse.
And this correspond to the issus I saw : when I plug the battery, I measure the voltage dropping...

Hi all, so i was watching tv acreen went black and no sound. Traced problem to blown tcon fuse. Replaced and it blows replaced again samething. So my tcon fuse keeps blowing. I bought a new board havent installed yet infear its just going to keep blowing the fuse. If i only connect the right side ribbon cable the fuse doesnt blow but as soon as i connect the left cable my tcon fuse instantly blows and no picture. The right side picture works clear as day and left side picture is grey (picture attatched) im hoping its a bad tcon board itself or a cable or anything and not the panel. Thank you for...

Help replacing fuse on my Mimaki CJV300-160 vinyl printer

                                          Hi guys,

I'm inexperienced with electronics repairs, I've done a little bit of soldering caps and whatnot, but i have a blown fuse on this mimaki printer I got which I have bought a replacement for.

How do I remove this type of fuse (see picture)...it kinda looks like it would pull out of that bracket but it didn't come at first pull and I didn't want to brute force it incase it's soldered on there like most of the rest of the components.

Anybody know how to remove this type of fuse?

(The fuse is toward the bottom of the image labeled F2)...
