    Samsung UN55B6000VFXZA bad panel?

    I put some pressure with a pencil eraser on the panels tab bonds and on the TCON bonds but it did not make any change.

    Is it worth trying a new TCON or is this another crapped out Samsung panel?

      the way it is rippling out from a central point (at least thats what i think i see) makes it seem like something either hit the screen or bumped into it.
      Doing this on the side to make some extra money for my daughters dance competition.

          Hmm thats odd however I would probably say bad panel.

              I think that is being caused by the Windows 7 background. I should have set it as a solid color.

                      Bad panel and bad t-con, notice black horizontal lines in photo two are very common in B series LED Samsung panels and there is no fix or no known cause as to why they happen.

                      Sometimes they cover full screen or most common is left to middle and dither out on the right side

                      If the t-con is cheap you can try to see if it remedies the solarazation issue but those lines will probably stay.

                          One other thing you can try before spending money on parts is to access the service menu and locate the test patterns and see of those lines persist post t-Con or pre t-con.

                              Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.

                              Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort.                               Good day, I have a TCL TV: Model 43s423.
