Asrock a320m-hdv motherboard not turning on
Good day members,
I have a asrock a320m-hdv motherboard that does not turn on. This weird thing is that it turns ON when I heat the motherboard in the vicinity of the m2 slot with a blow dryer. The there is a capacitor and resistor in parallel that has a voltage of 1.79v and 819mV on either ends. When I heat the board and it turns ON, the voltage is 1.79v and 803 mV. It turns OFF and ON normally if I wait a few minutes. On the other hand if I wait for an hour or more it does not turn ON anymore. I have to heat that area again and then it works. I noticed slight heat for example from my...

Biostar motherboard A10N-9630E schematic and boardview request
Good day members, hope everyone is doing well.
I am looking for a schematic and/or boardview for the Biostar motherboard model "A10N-9630E". I have this board that fails to boot.
The power supply is fine - All voltages pass with multimeter.
3.3V is present at the Power ON pins of the board
I think both the North and South Bridge are integrated in the Processor.
I will get another memory stick and see if the board boots.
I have disconnected all drives and peripherals while conducting these tests.
Any suggestions are welcomed....

Re: JVC 40" LED TV (LT-40KC385) - Turning ON sometimes (stuck on loading, menu etc.)
Hello, the voltage is on the power connector pin. See pic attached. O.32V when the TV is off and 2.98V when the TV is on.
Update: I reflowed the NAND chip, however, it made no difference....

Re: JVC 40" LED TV (LT-40KC385) - Turning ON sometimes (stuck on loading, menu etc.)
Ok..thanks. I measured the caps in diode mode around the eMMC (NAND Chip) but none are shorted, so is it safe to assume that the software is corrupted? Do you th8nk I should still reflow the RAM chip?

JVC 40" LED TV (LT-40KC385) - Turning ON sometimes (stuck on loading, menu etc.)
Hello esteem members,
I have a JVC Television that fails to turn ON sometimes. The stand-by red light is always on. When the TV turns on the the JVC logo displays then the TV attempts to scan for local channels...it then freezes. If I unplug it, then it refuses to turn on - stand by light on. The power supply input voltages are present - 12V, with the backlight 0.32V when the TV refuses to turn on. Backlight voltage is 2.98V when TV does turns ON. All regulator chip has 3.3V on pin 8. Processor voltage - 1.02V, Ram - 1.5V. I am thinking about reflowing the on-board RAM. When the TV was...

Re: Boardview xbox 360 , xbox fat , xbox one x and xbox one s
Good evening, my son's xbox360 has the ring of death.
So far I have disassemble the console with the intention of
repasting as well as a general cleaning. If that doesn't work then I will reflow the gpu.
This is where I want to get a better understanding of how the board works
I wish to thank you for sharing these boardviews.
Best regards.

Re: Laptop battery charging circuit
Wonderful post. I had a low battery warning recently on a hp 14-018la laptop. Turns out it was the battery that needed to be replaced. Thanks

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Good day to each and everyone on this wonderful forum. I am an Engineer in a Telecomms company for the last 23 years. I am in the filed of fiber optics design for new and existing plant. I did my BSc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering majoring in Telecomms and minor in digital electronics.
I love repairing laptops, macs, desktops, tablets, security cameras, gaming consoles etc. in my spare time. This site will surely be of great importance to me. I am particularly interested in boardviews as all my repairs...
