Hello everyone, requesting for some help. I have here an32" Lg model 32LC56 the symptoms of failure today are that the screen flickers after the tv warms up. I have changed all the output caps as one was bulged so I changed all the Samwha Wb caps with Panasonic Fm. Now I dont feel that this is an Lcd Glass failure as when the flickering appears the backlight flickers along with any image on the lcd screen. I am aware that these use smart backlight dimming or whatever but dont think that a failing Lcd Glass would also cause the backlight to flicker ? Has any one got any info on these sets and this failure googled it but answers are inconclusive TIA ?

Re: 32LC56 Flickering Screen ?
Could be a bad panel, fixed the 26LC56 with same fault - tab bond failure - generally found 26" Chimeis to take well to tab shims so might be fixable. not sure about 32" set though, may use LG panel. Please do not PM me with questions! Re: 32LC56 Flickering Screen ?
This tv is a weird one, I factory reset it and turned off that crappy backlight feature which just makes the screen look dim and rubbish and now no flickering at all wtf ? Only got 4 screws in the back as well not a single glitch even after 1 hour and its nice and warm crazy will update if anything happens. Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. Re: 32LC56 Flickering Screen ?
Ok the issue only appears when the whole screen seems to be addressed, when its on a black screen with menu works fine but when watching tv and the whole screen is working and every line is being scanned it messes up is it possible that a tab driver is failing when it gets used which is causing the whole screen to mess up ?Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. Re: 32LC56 Flickering Screen ?
Tv is fixed !! Was two caps on the Mainboard which were causing a dip in the voltage that goes to one of the regulators. by Ado02Hello everyone,
We recently replaced the OLED screen on a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Gen 10. After about a month, the replacement screen began to flicker. Initially, updating the IntelĀ® IrisĀ® Xe graphics driver resolved the issue for about a week. However, when the problem recurred, updating the driver again had no effect.
The flickering only occurs once the system reaches the Windows login screen. Interestingly, if we disable the Intel GPU driver or connect the laptop to an external monitor, the flickering stops. We have tried installing two different replacement screens,...12-16-2024, 02:33 PM -
by Ryan.manHello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -

This device came in due to the screen flickering if you use the touchpad or external mouse. It will flicker black when this occurs. If you use the touchscreen, the behavior does not appear. Also, if connected to external monitor, the external monitor is not affected by the flickering. I did a good amount of research on this, and concluded that it is due to the display driver. HP does not offer Windows 11 drivers for this model so I got the replacement drivers direct from Intel. I installed them and the problem... -
by smic717394Hi,
I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on... -
This TV has been on the wall in our reception area for around 10 years and the other day the backlight failed. You could see a feint picture so we knew the screen was OK. I took the TV apart to get to the failed backlight and inject voltage in to each half of the LED strips to identify which ones had failed and 4 needed replacing. I ordered a set off of Amazon and they arrived the next day.
On fitting the new LED strips I plugged in the TV was blinded by the light!!
It was only when I partially put it all back together (including the screen) that... - Loading...
