We recently replaced the OLED screen on a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Gen 10. After about a month, the replacement screen began to flicker. Initially, updating the Intel® Iris® Xe graphics driver resolved the issue for about a week. However, when the problem recurred, updating the driver again had no effect.
The flickering only occurs once the system reaches the Windows login screen. Interestingly, if we disable the Intel GPU driver or connect the laptop to an external monitor, the flickering stops. We have tried installing two different replacement screens,...

Thank you for your help. I followed your instructions but encountered an issue. I received a message indicating that the BIOS blocks don't match and that I need to update the BIOS. However, when I reached the battery screen (the battery capacity error message due to the battery not being connected), the system froze.
Upon restarting the laptop, I observed six orange flashes and then nothing happened. I removed the chip again and compared the files, noting that some changes had been made.
Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed?... -

Could someone please help remove the password from the attached files?
I've attempted using the unlock tool, but it still prompts me for the password.

Dell Inspiron 5415 Bios Required
Hi,
I'm currently experiencing issues with my Dell Inspiron 5415. Initially, the laptop would sometimes fail to boot, with the keyboard backlight turning on but no display on the screen. After repeated attempts to power it on and off, it would eventually boot up and function normally.
To troubleshoot, I removed both the main battery and the BIOS battery, but now the laptop exhibits a different issue: the fan runs at full speed, but the screen remains blank, and it doesn't boot up.
I suspect there might be a problem with the BIOS, and I would like assistance... -

Hi,
I'm working on an Asus X512F laptop that wouldn't turn on initially. It did power up when I disconnected the keyboard, but it shut down soon after.
I think the problem might be around the keyboard connector area, where the battery connector and Charging IC (BQ24780s) are also located.
When the laptop doesn't charge or power on, the battery positive measures only 0.22v. When it does charge, it reads 6v. The ACDRV on the charging IC shows 3.15v, but it should be around 25v.
Any ideas on what else I should check, or if I'm on the right... -

Nitro 5 Motherboard: LA-F991P LCD Backlight Problem
Hi,
I am currently working on a Nitro 5 laptop that came in with an issue involving the hinge and the LCD cable. The LCD cable has been replaced, and so has the screen. However, I am encountering a problem with getting the backlight to work.
While I am not an expert in this area, I suspect that PCH_BLK_PWM and BKOFF may be related to the backlight circuit. However, both of these components lead to integrated circuits (ICs), which makes it challenging for me to perform any checks.

Thank you for being so helpful. Unfortunately, the problem is still there. I compared your BIOS file and the backup BIOS, and they are very different. If the original BIOS was corrupted, this would make sense. But why is the problem still happening? Am I missing something, or could it be a hardware issue?
If the screen is the problem would I still be able to get an HDMI output on this model without the laptop booting into Windows?...Leave a comment:

Hi, will this bios work instead of the attached bios? I believe the version is EFCN59WW.
I have already tried it, but the screen remains black. So, I just wanted to confirm that is should work. If not can someone help me with the correct bios?
