120vdc motor question
Hey fellow members here i am back again with a dumb question but I lack the the understanding that you here in the BCF have. I need a motor for a pedal assist on my bicycle that I can remove when parked to prevent theft, it has to be small but powerful, so i thought to use a inflatable beds motor but it happens to run on 120 volts dc. Question i'm faced with is if it can be powered off lower voltages and have same rpm? Just asking for a little help...

Re: Transistor Tester crash
nope the 7550 only has 2.50 volts from Gnd to Vin and 2.98 from Gnd to V out
now to find a replacement or equivalent thanks bro, hope this fixes it!...

Transistor Tester crash
Howdy all at BdCaps purchased one of these transistor capacitor testers from you know where. Had it a few months and now the thing wont power on, the power on led just blinks and display don't light up. I've checked the voltage on the 9012/9014 NPN BJT Transistors and they measure within specs from pin 1 emitter and pin 2 the base and all the way to the pins of the digital display. Has anyone had...Last edited by manstoblame; 04-01-2019, 10:40 PM.

Re: How to test a voltage regulator
Does this also apply when dealing with adjustable 1117's I have one on a main board/logic ... It reads pin 1: 0.57 pin 3: 1.25 other regulators on pin 1 read 5.3 and 1.5 I would automatically assume that it is not a working part am I right TV hesitates to turn on when button is pressed also has yellow image only! Do you have knowledge of a cure for it ===>...

Re: 32LC56 Flickering Screen ?
May be the backlight tube itself is beginning to fail? or the connector to the bulb is loose its really hard to say and everything and anything else would just be guessing...

Re: Westinghouse SK-26H240S Power supply issue
okay note that I am no authority on the subject but check the instructions on lcd tv repair facts here sure you'll find some helpful info there from my own experience I would begin by checking all outputs from the power board at the pin connectors and make sure you have voltages needed to power on the backlights. And while attempting any electronic repairs please use safety first these sets can kill!!!! my thinking is that it could be something as simple as a capacitor or opto sensor or voltage regulator you will need schematics and...

Re: Sony bravia kdl26ml130 no remote signals pics this time
Oh and also because I forgot I have no power led so maybe fault lies in that area just wanted to thank you guys for the help you gave me and hey budm would it be prudent to assume that most smd beads that are the same size generally are the same resistance? Or if I might be able to remove the bead from another MB for a replacement?Last edited by manstoblame; 09-15-2015, 10:08 AM.
