It is just a diode for the negative power supply section. So it is OK.
You should try new startup/running cap I mention in the earlier post next.

You need to check the resistance between GND pin 4 against all other pins to see what you get and report the reading.
Then you will take the DCV reding between GND Ppin 4 and the VCC pin 6 to see what you get.
the IC needs VCC 15VDC typ Voltage for it to start (range is 13.2~16.8VDC).

In the datasheet I see it says recommended Vcc is 10V min, Typ 18V, max 28V

Is this TV being tested with the Sc and SS boards connected? either of those shorted can may present a No LED, No blink. Might be worth checking just in case

I'm not sure if this info applies to US models, you don't have green LED on start up, just red.

Willing to help but I'm no expert.

                              Hi everyone,

I am trying to fix a samsung washinmachine power supply main board.
I already replaced it with another one to fix the machine but i want to try understand the issue with the old board.
Therefore i hope to be able to get some help to explain what to check in order to troubleshoot.
The power supply board reference is the following: DC41-00189a
I have followed one thread (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ingmachine-rel...

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
                              by Asraf Atb
                              Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....

I replaced those two with an exact donor board we had In stock and working, board pulls 5volts and then gets like 2.89 amps on the left side. The singular port is the port that failed. Used a perfectly working chips from donor (board was locked) Now I only get 5volts 0 amps on that power and then 20volts 0 amps on the two left side ports, I checked for DFU and nope nothing, computer not turning on. Originally the tv arrived with dimmed backlights (not failed leds) but everything else worked ok. Adjusting backlight in menu did nothing but voltage changed on dimming control pins,
                              0% p_dim at 1.65v and a_dim at 1v
                              50% p_dim at 3.3v and a_dim at 1.65v

Changed backlight leds anyway as always like to have complete peace of mind they wont fail shortly after selling the tv. No change as expected!

Leds are 2 rows of 15 6v leds.
