    Just wondering if you have tried pressing the green button - think it is a reset switch.
    As you are talking replacement then maybe worth trying.
    Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

        I have the exact same TV with the same problem as the OP. My TV was a refurb originally, and when the problem developed (8 years later), I opened it up and found all the board screws quite loose, as in 2-3 turns. The main board has arcing and sparking evidence on the solder patches on the underside at the mounting holes meant to make contact with the metal shroud. There is no other evidence of faults, and securing the boards didn't fix it. So, I'm thinking the intermittent ground scrambled the on/off circuit processor. The green button, incidentally, is a manual on/off switch, not a reset.
        The on/off circuit works to a point; that is it turns off the "ready" LED momentarily, then flashes red, which must mean error, since on is a steady blue. The connector for the blue LED doesn't read power in the on mode. The switches or remote will turn the TV off to "ready" mode, again.
        All the tests done by the OP are the same on this one, except I didn't try jumping the "inv on" terminal.
        Any tricks to bring the thing back?

                        Iv'e been working on asus x453ma that only turn on when the ac adapter connected
                        The battery itself was fine

                        So this is what happen
                        -plugged ac adapter
                        -trigger power button
                        -laptop turning on
                        -unplug the ac adapter
                        Laptop still on with battery
                        -without ac adapter
                        -trigger power button
                        And nothing happens

                        Have no idea what is going on
                        Charging sistem still works when laptop is turning on
                        And also when battery reach 100% the charging indicator still red. It should turn white/green...

                        Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe.                         Hi everyone,

                        I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.

                        The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.
