I will try to reprogram the BIOS chip with a clean firmware from MSI's official website. Then, I will check it using the tool you recommended.
By the way, in your case with the Acer laptop, was it exactly the same as what I'm experiencing? Because after checking the schematic for my laptop, I noticed that there is no MOSFET in the EC_RST line.
For my chip, the ENE KB9548GF2 in BGA version is quite expensive compared to the regular version (128-pin). It costs around 18 USD, which is approximately 297,180 IDR...Leave a comment:

Oh, I see. I thought it couldn't be programmed, but turns out it can. The programmer tools, though, are crazy expensive..I can't afford them. And in Indonesia, it seems like no one has figured out how to program the latest version of the KBC/SIO IC yet...Leave a comment:

Thank you very much, mate. After I finish making the tool, if it's confirmed that the damaged component is the EC chip, I'll try buying it from a local store in Indonesia first. For the BIOS file, I think the bios version for this laptop is the one that ends in .3xx. Because I read the readme file for both versions, only the .3xx version says "GF63 Thin 11UC" (I didn't have time to check the previous version because my laptop was already dead). After I reflashed the Bios chip, I tried pressing the power button, but still nothing happened.

for EC it looks like you are right there is no problem because when i install the battery and then plug in the charger then the charging indicator appears. it's just that it doesn't respond when i press the power button.

I've seen one of your videos, if I'm not mistaken the first step is to check the power rail line. After i measured the power rails, the voltages appeared 20v, 5v, 3v. and i think this board has nothing shorted. is it possible that this is my bios or the SIO chip that has a problem?
For your information, I tried to flash my BIOS with the new firmware from MSI's official website, but still nothing happened, could this be a problem with the SIO chip?

So this laptop died because I tried to force it off and it wouldn't turn back on. I tried to watch tutorials on youtube to see what problems actually occur with this laptop. One of the videos I saw on youtube said to try to connect the power cord to the motherboard and then see if there is any current going into the motherboard. I measured the incoming voltage around 20v then the voltage of 5 and 3 volts also appeared, but when I checked using a power supply at 20v, the ampere value did not move at all aka 0 ampere. for measurements using resistance how do you know if something is shorted?
