    Lenovo Y700-17ISK turn on and off

    Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on. Removed power supply, waited few minutes and connected power supply again and the laptop turn on itself for few seconds, then turn off, the turn on again, and so on.
    Any idea whats going on? PCH dead? I measured cpu, gpu and pch mosfets - seems ok, no shorting. Any thoughts?

      Measure voltage on JEDP1 on the following pins.
      INVT_PWM
      LED_VDD
      DISPLOFF#
      LCD_VDD
      EDP_HPD

              Well nevermind, it just died, wont turn on anymore.
              LED_VDD was 1,8, rest 0.

                  For Badcaps Readers, Please note that I am hopefully going to present this same message to Lenovo to see if they have any insight to the matter as well and figured to share the entirety here for clarification. The System is out of warranty as it is but does have the option to have it extended.

                  Lenovo G565 Laptop onboard LCD Display does not turn on.
                  Only works with external Monitor.
                  I am trying to verify that the LCD signals from the motherboard are ok.
                  The LCD was working, but over time happened to not turn on more frequently.
                  Now dead.
                  Possibly the cable from MB to LCD is broken somewhere.

                  I just wonder how it is detected if external or internal monitor shall be activated ?

                  I've repaired a few laptops in my life but this time my own laptop died😂.
                  Funny enough this one is a bit tough on me.
                  It doesn't turn on (most of the time).
                  Model: Lenovo y520-15ikbm (NM-391).

                  The only way to make it turn on is:
                  1) unplug battery + charger + rtc (seems irrelevant)
                  2) wait a minute
                  3) plug battery/charger in
                  4) on charger plugin, laptop turns on by itself. On battery plugin you have to press power button. Sometimes nothing happens and you have to try again.
                  5) when it turns on it also displays POST...

                  Hello everyone,
                  I need your advice in diagnosing a motherboard issue on a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ITL05, motherboard HS45A/HS55A Rev 1.0 NM-D461 (2020-11-02).
                  Symptoms:
                  The laptop does not power on and does not respond to the power button.
                  Background:
                  According to the owner, her child was playing on the laptop when it suddenly shut down.
                  What has been done so far:
                  Original charger is missing; the non-original one was tested and found faulty (0 V output).
                  Using a lab power supply (20 V, 0.5 A) — no activity on the board, no LEDs, no standby voltages....

                  lenovo x240 nm-a091 wont turn on

                  i got this laptop with no power issue....i flashed the bios and laptop can turn on and use normally....but when i shut it down and rest for few minute (2-3 minutes), it wont turn on....i have to flash bios again...any idea what is the problem?...when i shutdown and suddenly press power button to turn on, it will turn on normally....problem happen when i rest the laptop 2-3 minutes after shutdown, it will not turn on....i need to flash bios again
