    Philips 32PFL5322D/37

    Good day all,

I have a 32PFL5322D/37 lcd tv not turning on just the little blue led lights once when you push power then cycles red 6 flashes break for 3 sec than repeats.

I am not too familiar with this design TV, I have only worked on led tvs so far. So not to sure on how to trouble shoot. Based on a thread here it leads me to believe main board but from some research on Google found many others pointing to power supply. All with the same led sequence. Any help on how to determine troublesome component greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Josh

I actually just repaired one of these recently with the same symptom. Ended up being the audio / standby board. That would be my first guess based on my experience.

Thanks for the info. But I really need a guide to troubleshooting the exact part. How did you come to find out it was audio / standby board?

What is the chassis number as shown on the model number sticker on the back of the TV?
          For example:

OK, please upload good clear pictures of the back side of the TV so we can see how all the boards are connected together, and then the pictures of each board.
I was hoping the service manual will be close enough to use to see if it has any error codes listing to tell us what the problem is.

Right now I cannot tell if this TV uses ACTIVE I or ACTIVE LO to activate the function.
You need to look at pin 11 (The STBY (PS_ON) pin 11,), and pin 12 (BL_ON) when power TV is OFF and when TV power switch is activated, report the readings.
To find out if the inverter for backlghts is OK not, you will need to find out if this power supply has 24V power supply for the backlights inverter or if this is power supply-inverter board combo type, I cannot tell since I do not have the pictures of the boards.

Did you download it? It is for chassis EJ3.0U-LA.
                          https://www.scribd.com/archive/plans?doc=46693741&escape=false&metadata={%22context%22%3A%22archive_view_restricted%22%2C%22page%22%3A%22read%22%2C%22action%22%3A%22download_promo%22%2C%22logged_in%22%3Afalse%2C%22platform%22%3A%22web%22}
Beside, it is the same one from ELEKTROTANYA that you said it is not the same as your TV:

EJ3.0U-LA which is what you have.
Look at the one in your link, it is the same EJ3.0U-LA which is for 32pfl5332.
Did you look at the manual to see if the boards are the same as yours?

                                This one?

Which is for the chassis EJ3.0U-LA.
no the other 1. Im currently trying to get some voltages. Every time I pull the connector off of the mainboard for about 30 seconds the set will try to power up when I put it back on and ive got a few voltages so far trying to get the rest. Pin 12 was 3v though when it attempted to power up.

It does power up when pressing the power button.

I already try the power button while plugin the plug with no result.
Also put the latest firmware autorun-TPM191E_R.001.004.100.000.upg on a MBR/FAT32 USB stick at USB port2 with no result either.

Could this be an PSU or eMMC issue ?

                                        Hi all,

Wife has 2 Philips hair curling irons half defective - after learning how they're supposed to work and testing them, it turned out that both have defective power cables, and both on the same place; broken wires due to wire bending.
As they were both relatively easy to disassemble, and cables are plugged not soldered (as they can rotate in the handle), I was sure it would be easy to find replacements. But - NO! I'm unable to find anything similar on ebay or Aliexpress.

Not sure if this is something Philips proprietary, or a standard, but the cable plug...

                                        Hi

I have here a Philips 47PFS7509/12 LCD TV which came to me with a weird problem : without signal i could access menu, make a factory reset, access menus, etc.
When i applied cable signal to check image, i had normal picture, but TV was restarting.
I downloaded original firmware and applied the update, but the problem remained.
From a colleague i received a "factory package software" which is a lot bigger.
I made another firmware update, but still did not solve the problem.
Somewhere on the way the error got worse, because at the moment the...

Please review my ESP based WLED controller board for WS2815 12V LED Strips - New to electronics.
                                        by Geeker007
I'm designing an ESP-based WLED controller board for WS2815 12V LED strips, with a primary focus on energy efficiency.

To minimize power consumption, my goal is to completely shut down the system when the LED strip is turned off.
However, the current buck converter powering the ESP module draws about 8 watts even when the LEDs are idle, making it unsuitable for low-power operation.

                                        I am using below components:
                                        • Buck Converter: TPS562201 (12V → 5V regulated)
                                        • Microcontroller: XIAO ESP32-C3 (with built-in USB-C)
                                        • LED Strip: WS2815 (12V digital LED strip)
                                        • Switching
                                        ...

                                        Hello,

I've got a really strange issue with the speakers on my Philips 43PUS7506/12. It makes this awful loud buzzing now. It happened after it was attempted to be wall mounted - I think the back got squeezed and something broke.
I thought maybe the speakers got damaged, so I replaced them - no dice.
                                        • Using the internal speakers, it always happens.
                                        • Using the headphone jack, it never happens.
                                        • Using the digital/optical out with a soundbar - it happens after about 2h/movie runtime - it's never as drastic, it just pops in and out, but I didn't want it to damage the sound bar
                                        ...
