Each connector has contacts on the other side (which are soldered to the board) and there is a numbering of each output, insert the cable and use a multimeter (on the continuity tester) to check each line, that is, one probe on the T-CON connector, the second probe on the connector (on the soldering side) of the buffer bar, and you continuity test each line with a multimeter, moving the probes to each contact (1pin.- 1pin., 2pin.- 2pin., 3pin.- 3pin.,..........) and do the same between the motherboard and T-CON.Attached FilesComment

For shure it has not to be like so, therefore simply try to pry those pins back to the original position using a needle , it's very kindly not touching well the cable side..Comment

Put pins back, checked lvds and ribbons for continuity all ok-replaced and still no change. led's still working ok, tried other inputs hdmi nothing changed!
I began checking generally again in and around IC 302 and various caps associated seems that there maybe a problem with.....does this IC and buck converter have any affect or is this totally seperate. I compared to other power supplies and IC 300/3 are simular resistance and V but totally different to 302!!!
Also I'm only getting 0.3 v caps 604/6/8 and 5/7 1.8 v...are these correct?

If T-CON sees any faults (low resistance or short circuit) on the output voltages for the panel, it blocks them, disconnect one cable from T-CON and the panel (from the T-CON side) and turn on the TV and see what's wrong with the image, then reconnect the cable and disconnect the second one and also check the image (the image will appear on at least half of the screen).Comment

This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.
Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode... -

I have a VIZIO E70-E3.
Symptoms: Black screen, no picture, but LED backlights are working.
I probed the power board and voltages are as listed on the board.
Main board appears fine, too.
I believe the problem is either a bad T-CON board, or connection to LCD, or bad LCD.
There are two separate ribbon cables feeding the LCD.
If both are connected, the screen is black.
If only the ribbon cable that feeds the right side of the screen (when viewed from the front) is disconnected, the left side of the screen shows picture and... -
5.5 year old 85 inch Sony Bravia X950G started showing gray horizontal lines across the bottom of the screen and the picture shifts slightly vertically when it happens. The lines sometimes get bigger/smaller vertically and bounce back. See the video for the problem. It seems to be happening after it warms up after an hour or so. Happens regardless of source. Right now there's nothing but power cable connected and it's happening. Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.
When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.
I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped... -
I'm not sure what to do next and came here since y'all helped me fix a 50" plasma TV back in 2014, which is still working!
A friend gave me an Insignia NS-50DR620NA18 50" TV that suddenly developed large vertical lines on it. He said he had no idea what might have caused it and has replaced it with a larger TV. He was going to throw it away.
I did not notice any bulged or leaking caps on any board, the voltages produced by the power supply match the voltage that the pins are marked. The backlight leds are working. I have tried cleaning the ribbon cables...
