Lg 47lm860v 3d tv- no picture

Re: LG 47 LM8600 - No Video Hi all.....
I probably need putting against a wall and deserve a stoning for my stupidity.............. I have a LG which after following information with problems with T-con and lines on screen covered the pins which affected the display and had it sorted...until!!! Lets get it over and done with, I managed to get a little sidetracked and forgot that the tv remained powered up and I replaced the LVDS which to my horror then left me with no picture whatsoever. The backlight remains ok but as mentioned no picture and probably managed to fry the T-con or have I? Perhaps there may be something a little more simple or not so. Where do I go from here? Can you assist in any way? or as suspected into my pocket to find a replacement which is not where I want to go as not the most inexpensive board to say the least.
OK so now its out there let the stoning begin.....
Many thanks guys and stay safe(safer than me anyhow)
    Look forward to your assistance
    Regards

Ok, i read in the other topic that the owner of topic has another problem, so you have or had lines on screen, it depends on how lines are on what type of issue you have, now, have you still some lines or no image at all? if no image at all then probably you have the same as the other topic, thus bad cpu or RAM soldering..
aside from the light reflow (half reflow) i suggest you the panel test..
disconnect main board from tcon, place a jumper wire from PSB 12v out to tcon input fuse , to directly feed power to the lcd,
then switch on current, if the screen makes an BWRGB test (full screen colours) without issue then.main board is at fault, otherwise it can be a fault of soldering of one BGA of tcon..

If there was an image and when connecting the LVDS cable under voltage and installing the cable with a skew, then the fuse could have burned out, but I do not see it at the T-CON input, it may be at the LVDS output of the motherboard, check the voltage on this capacitor, it should be 12v.

SAMSUNG UN55KS9000F picture fades then distorts into vertical lines after 20 seconds
            by JJAAMM
This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

            Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

VIZIO E70-E3 Half picture with half TCON
            by Fly_Among_Stars
            Hi,
            I have a VIZIO E70-E3.
Symptoms: Black screen, no picture, but LED backlights are working.
I probed the power board and voltages are as listed on the board.
            Main board appears fine, too.
I believe the problem is either a bad T-CON board, or connection to LCD, or bad LCD.
There are two separate ribbon cables feeding the LCD.
If both are connected, the screen is black.

If only the ribbon cable that feeds the right side of the screen (when viewed from the front) is disconnected, the left side of the screen shows picture and...

Sony XBR-85X950G Gray horizontal lines and vertical picture shift diagnosis?
            by noisykid
5.5 year old 85 inch Sony Bravia X950G started showing gray horizontal lines across the bottom of the screen and the picture shifts slightly vertically when it happens. The lines sometimes get bigger/smaller vertically and bounce back. See the video for the problem. It seems to be happening after it warms up after an hour or so. Happens regardless of source. Right now there's nothing but power cable connected and it's happening. We did hook up a new Nintendo Switch to our HDMI switching receiver today, and played for a while with no issues, but this problem didn't occur til a few hours later while...

Insignia NS-50DR620NA18 w/ large vertical lines & no picture
            by srs
I'm not sure what to do next and came here since y'all helped me fix a 50" plasma TV back in 2014, which is still working!

A friend gave me an Insignia NS-50DR620NA18 50" TV that suddenly developed large vertical lines on it. He said he had no idea what might have caused it and has replaced it with a larger TV. He was going to throw it away.

I did not notice any bulged or leaking caps on any board, the voltages produced by the power supply match the voltage that the pins are marked. The backlight leds are working. I have tried cleaning the ribbon cables...

Samsung QLED GQ50Q67TGU turns on and off
            by Batata
            Hello everybody,

my TV has a problem. It keeps turning on and off. The speakers are still working, and I hooked up the TV to my PC, and it recognizes it as a Samsung device. I am able to get a stable backlight when I disconnect the cable(I believe it is called the LVDS cable) that connects the left lower board (which is connected to the "main board") and the right lower board. I have tried a taping method I saw on YouTube, where the CLK cables are taped off. In fact, I proceeded to figure out which pin I have to tape off in order to get a stable backlight. It doesn't matter...
