No, have none, if you think one of them is the problem you can remove one at a time and check it, the tv will likely work without it. Maybe remove one try it, no difference, put it back on and remove the other etc.

I blocked all 8 CKV lines on the U ribbon cable and the tv no longer clicks, the backlight stays on, but there is no picture.

so its... blocking all ckv are same to disconnect... this why need reduce yours masking. however i have doubt ... but you can try all 8 CKV messure them against TV chassis ... U ribbon should be disconnected.. check if you find one or 2 low Resistances

I'm not sure I understand. would like me to measure between the chassis and the ckv? If so, can you please point out in one of my pictures where the CKV lines are on the board?

this what you wrote... the U ribbon when you disconnected... the pins you masked before at the socket pins measure them in Ohm against GND

it sound to me you have issue in glass panel gate transistor .. install the jumpers of Feed back which easybone advised at post #3 and disconnect the U ribbon we are talking on... if no picture displaying... then MB need to replace... but keep in mind the damage at gate transistor which make damage at T-CON circuit at original MB could happen too after short time at the same test advised here.

I installed the jumper again, removed the left side of the U ribbon cable and I do get a picture on 3/4 of the screen

                                            Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                                            - sound and backlight, but no picture
                                            - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                                            - it keeps rebooting
                                            - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                                            - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

                                            Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

                                            Good morning.

the original board of this equipment is in reboots without giving an image or turning on the backlight, the board code is BN94-12926P (BN41-02636), I made a copy of the flash ic1603 and ic1604, dumps attached. I tried to put other dumps (from other popis models I didn't find this board) but without success. That said, I bought a board on ebay BN94-12926A, which in principle should at least give image, even if with defects, this board turns on and responds to the command but does not give any indication of image despite the availability of VHG and VGL voltages as well...
