alright LED is in place and sitting right on the pads, polarity is correct, and led lights when I test it in diode check. But tv still doesnt power up. I tried the reset procedure forwards and backwards but still a no go. Any ideas anyone?

Maybe the LED driver has a problem too.

I have an idea I just repaired a 46 inch version of this TV also the sensor pads for the buttons are very sensitive and make sure that the circuit board behind the sensor touch buttons is properly pushed against the panel the plastic panel one of the either power button input button or volume down button are not being recognized. Best thing to do is get some Windex and clean the plastic panel where the sensor touch buttons are and then try again it's going to take some time but fiddle around pressing on the power input volume down and it will reset it's a pain in the butt but it will work eventually. I think this is what a lot of people having a problem with.

I know its hard to explain but basically with the LC -60LE810UN and the LC-46le810un which both of these I have repaired the same way by bypassing the first led in the strip closest to the connector I had to clean and mess with the sensor buttons for a long time. There is obviously an inherent problem with the sensor activated push buttons. the 46 inch version got to the point where I had to remove the circuit board that is sticky tape onto the plastic panel clean both sides with Windex and then reinstall it clean the front with Windex where the buttons are and then proceeds to try again rubbing my finger all over each buttons to make sure that I've got a good contact on the button. Again I know it sounds weird but after about 45 minutes of messing around I got the TV to power upafter the repair and then I reset the lamp error count and now no problem but still the push buttons are very finicky. if I don't push on the buttons for a period of time like when I'm using the TV and using the remote if I don't use the buttons they will start to act up again and then I have to play with the buttons for a long time to get them to reactivate. I haven't tried but maybe a little heat with a hair dryer on the front face might get them to activate better

Unfortunately that I cannot help you with. Never fooled with the led driver on this particular power supply. Just know the general checks for shorts

I have only repaired a Sony TV, which had a bad LED driver board. That board, it was separate board and not included in the power supply.
It had six ICs and they all had some test points and by comparing them, I had found one, with different reading than the others and then I knew, which one it was the faulty one.
You should post some pictures with that board, top and bottom.

I have removed vol, ch, and input board from chassis to ensure that I am making contact with buttons. Reset code still doesnt work. Also Im not getting any standby voltage. Shouldnt I at least get 5v standby? Can anyone help?

Well no standby voltage is another problem altogether. So you are not getting a 1-1 error flash upon plugging it in?

How do you know it isnt a combination of the LED and the power supply? Power supply was replaced the very first time I looked at this set and it still didnt power on. So after going further and researching I discovered it may be a LED at fault. Which I found a bad one right next to the connection like many have said in these forums. I have replaced this LED and am still getting an error code.

So since I have no 5v stdby should I assume it is the power supply? Seems like this is the mostly likely problem because standby is supposed to be there no matter what....right?

so let's get this straight. Upon plugging it in you do not have any flashing inverted V at all? As in the LED for the power light is not flashing?

you're trying to test the standby 5 volts correct not the 5 volt? Because you will not have any 5 volt unless the TV powers up you will always have standby 5 volt.

In post #1 "The problem I have is the short blink, long blink error." You must have had 5VSTBY otherwise you will not be seeing any error lights, but now you no longer have 5VSTBY?

Ok sorry for the mis-understanding, I have ordered another power supply and replaced it. Same problem 1 long and 1 short inverted "v". Im assuming I should replace the Main Board now but have no luck finding it in stock anywhere. Is there a component set available to repair the Main Board?

DKEYMF452FM11 is the part number and I was able to find one on ebay just recently. Once I get it I will report back with results. Does anyone know if maybe the t-con board could also be responsible for these problems?

Ok here is the summation of everything I have done.
                                          1. Tested all and Replaced burned out led on led strip
                                          2. Replaced PSU
                                          3. Replaced Mainboard
                                          4. Tried button reset combination
                                          5. I have 5v BU5v (pin 11)

                                          but...
I still have 1-1 flash code. Should I give up and throw this set away? Im thinking maybe the led strips are bad even though I have tested each one manually. Help?!?
