Sharp LC-32D59U - Need Fuse Part number.

Hello. I have a Sharp LC-32D59U that is completely dead. No standby, etc. Found out that all 4 fuses are open. Assume it was hit by a surge. They are little square fuses. 250V/5A. I am trying to determine a part number to order these and they are odd sized. Does anyone have any part numbers for these? I found some previous threads where budm provided manuals, etc but I could not find a part listing.

    Thanks!

Thanks for all the responses. It is much appreciated. I did check VZ801 VZ803 and VZ805 and no shorts are present. I guess all the fuses blew and there doesn't seem to be any other damaged. Check all obvious diodes..etc.

                Ow5856ba,

replaced all 4 fuses and poof the moment I plugged in the AC. All other components seem to test good. I am obviously missing something. Has anyone else worked on this particular model?

Need straight shot pictures of both sides of the board so I can trace out the connections on the bottom side.

So what resistance do you get when measure between the two inner pins of the bridge rectifier? The resistance be tween the two outer pins of the rectifier?

Budm, I wasnt sure which were correct so I did two readings:

                            outer pins - .9 ohms on 200 ohm setting / 0.0 on 20K setting

                            inner pins - Inifnite on 200ohms / 4.79ohms on 20k setting

OK, you do have shorted circuit, so remove the bridge and take the reading on the same place (the pads on the circuit board where the legs of the bridge are attached to) as before to see if the shorts still present.

                                  Hi Budm,

                                  So here are my updates.

1st off - only Fuses F802 and F804 are shorted. F801 & F803 did not shorrt out (yet)

Removed rectifier and there is a short across outer pads. All readings remained on the same on the pads. Recitfier does not seem to have short across outer pins.

Removed Diode D802 and verified it as shorted.
with diode removed, there is a momentary short across diode pads. Short still remains across outer rectifier pads.

Then removed C808 as it showed shorted in circuit. C808 tested good, and with one end removed from circuit, short still remains.

So currently, recitifier, diode and capacitor all all out of circuit at this time. Short remains.

I followed traces and must be missing something that is shorted...any suggestions where to look next?

Not sure about Fuses being shorted? If you mean they show a resistance near to zero ohms end to end then they are good. If not they are bad/open

It would probably be better if instead of saying something is shorted to state
                                    the resistance in ohms.

Have you checked Q801 yet? I uploaded the part of the schematic that should make it easy to find the shorted component. I also see some very bad soler connections (circled) that may have been the source of the failure.

Using your square fuse picture i saw a part of my actual problem. In upper left corner there's a fuse made of glass with both end in red. I figured out those were kind of circuit protection and i have 1 out of 5 in my Sharp Aquos that is open. Part in my LC-32D43U is SG7006. Can someone help me find this part and value?

                                        thanks in advance!
