It's a corrupted chip. Emmcs have a lifespan apparently and that lifespan can be tested for with a programmer. I've pulled them off and tested them and they basically come back as corrupt. When you stick a new chip in, shows life used at 0 percent.
Either way.. awesome to hear. Easy fix.
