Philips 40 PUK6809/12 Backlight turns off after 10-20 seconds

    Hello
Mother called and said TV turns off after switching on. So after turning on Philips logo shows and probably 10-20 seconds image disappears, sat receiver is connected and sound is heard from source. So I turned on my phones light and I can see the image it seems backlight was off after some time. I dis assembled the cover hoping to see a distinc cap blown or leakage. Here are photos I took (I was after 22:00 pm and maybe some of them are dark). Should I order and change caps on the power circuit or what would you recommend? Thanks

You should check the LED strip, that's often the fault. One ore more leds come loose or just die.

is it consistent with the symptoms? Leds working at startup (no matter turning off and on surely shows tv logo and backlights work) and stops working short time later?

As mentioned before, check the leds. That the leds work for a short time is possible, had that before.

If you can navigate the menu well enough with a flashlight, go to picture settings and turn the backlights way down then turn tv off, then when you turn it back on see if it stays on longer, if it does that's a sure sign of a backlight issue, probably a bad/weak led or 2 or more. As mentioned that symptom is often bad led/s, tv starts for a bit then detects a problem and shuts down.
