Check the smd capacitors on the t-con, maybe one is s/c.

Reloading the firmware (upgrade_loader) also makes little sense if there is no image. Then you would benefit more from resetting the Setoption, even though in this case it seems to me that the panel has a problem. Measure whether the t-con receives 12V and then you can measure some voltages on the t-con. An important one is the 15V to the panel.

If there is no picture but there is backlight you could check if a capacitor on one of the two FCC pcb's has a short circuit. These are the long pcb's at the bottom of the display.

This TV does not have a separate T-con, it is built into the mainboard. Does the standby LED flash when you turn on the TV? If so how often?

Re: philips 55pus7909/12
Google for "55PUS7909 firmware" and you will find a lot of links. When the mainboard is faulty I don't think that a firmware update will help. Most of the times the EMMC is at the end of it's life.

Re: philips 55pus7909/12
When in stand by there must be a red light on the front. If not the backlight could be faulty but also the mainboard could be the culprit. Easy to check is the 12V on the t-con fuse and many other known voltages.

Re: Sony kd70xf8305 very very slow android logo with sound
A common fault with these models, swapping the emmc will not help either. The problem is the IC between the processor and the scaler underneath the black coolingblock, it dies slowly after a few years. I have seen several with this problem and all with the same problem.

Re: Philips 65PUT6121 - no backlight
Solder the cable on the pcb, cables are not sold by Philips....

Re: Sony KD-43X8307C bootloop
Search with Google for KD-43X8307C emmc, first hit is a seller and maybe there are more to find.

Re: Sony KD-43X8307C bootloop
A CH341A won't work, it has no BGA socket
There is no other way to programme the EMMC.
Buying a preprogrammed EMMC is the best option unless you want to buy a better programmer, this could be helpfull for future repairs.

Re: Samsung qe55q60rat
Never search a mainboard via the BN41-xxxxxX code, there is a label with the correct code that starts with BN94-xxxxxX.
