Hisense H8G not turning on, only slow blinking white LED
These Hisense H8G series (or Q8G if you are in Canada) tv appears to have a common failure of the main board. Many posts on Reddit without a solution. Mine is a 55" tv hence the 55H8G model (TV comes in 50, 55, 65 and 75". Corresponding models are 50H8G, 55H8G, 65H8G and 75H8G). Symptom is that the tv will not turn on, only a slow blinking white LED near the on button on the tv. Has anyone found a repair for the main board? I can buy a replacement main board, but would prefer to repair my main board. Thanks.

Re: Hisense 60R6E - No backlight - stuck in boot loop
You might try downloading the firmware for your tv. I have a Hisense that was stuck on a bootloop. Turned out the firmware was corrupt. And not every brand USB stick works on Hisense. I had to try 2 or 3 different ones before the new firmware took.

I had the same issue with my Hisense 55H9G. I reached out to them on Facebook and they sent me the file. Try Facebook.

Re: Samsung UN39FH5000F has sound but no picture
Fuse has connectivity and measures 12.9V. I think the T-Con board is ok. Is there a particular component I should check on the main board? TV powers on, then powers off after about 10 seconds (and backlights remain off during the 10 seconds)....

Samsung UN39FH5000F has sound but no picture
Hi, I have an old tv that has sound but no image. No image even with flashlight. These are the things I have tried:
- Unplugging cable from power supply board to main board resulted in backlights lighting up (tv was on at this point). This likely means that LED strip are ok
- Used backlight tester on leads on power supply board. Both LED strips showed 173V, and both lit up when tested. Yet nothing on tv screen except for a faint glow of the backlights
- Unplugging LVDS cables from T-Con to panel (first left cable, then right cable) did not show anything on screen. Backlight...Last edited by frannyjunk; 10-27-2022, 07:22 PM.

Re: Vizio D32h-f4 will not update
I tried but factory reset and USB. Neither worked, unfortunately....

Re: Vizio D32h-f4 will not update
i read on another site where a few people had to find newer versions of firmware, but not the latest version. Upon installing the "intermediate" version, then tv was able to self update thereafter. But I can't find "intermediate" versions of the firmware. My tv still has the original firmware, and the latest firmware version just will not install. So, any way to locate older firmware? If I can find those files, I can update using USB drive.

Re: Vizio D32h-f4 will not update
I have the same problem. My Vizio D32H-F0 TV will try to update, but then reboots a couple times and eventually goes to a blank screen. Did you find a fix?

Re: LG 50lb6300 voltages are reversed
Do you remember if you replaced the board, or just a component? If component, which one? Thanks!...

Did the new power supply board fix it?...

LG 49LB5500 flashing as soon as plugged in
So I have this LG TV that started flashing. Thinking the symptoms were consistent with backlight issues, I replaced them. But the problem persisted. The flashing is a little odd in that the LEDs are not very bright when flashing. So I put my voltmeter on the LED socket on the power supply board and the voltage cycles between 30 and 90 volts (backlight plug not plugged in). I am assuming the voltage cycling is not normal, right? When I disconnect the cable to the mainboard, the LED socket reads 0V. Any idea if this is a power supply board issue? Or is it the mainboard? How can I check? What component...Last edited by frannyjunk; 04-19-2022, 09:10 PM.

Re: Vizio M60-C3 left side of screen + a couple other areas dim
I will do that if I have to. The thing is that the pattern of the dark areas seems suspicious. Normally, if a string of LED backlights go out, there is a horizontal dim area. In my case, the dim areas are vertical. Sould I attempt to replace the LED driver board first?...

Vizio M60-C3 left side of screen + a couple other areas dim
My Vizio M60-C3 was dead. No power, no lights. Just nothing. So I took the back cover off and noticed 4 bulging caps on the power supply board, so I replaced them (green low esr capacitors in the picture). The tv now works! But there are some areas that look dim (see picture). In particular, the left side has a dim band. I know that the led strips run horizontal, yet this band is vertical. Could it be that the led driver board is bad? Could the blown caps have taken out the led driver board? Or is this just a coincidence that every left side led on each strip just went out?...Last edited by frannyjunk; 11-10-2021, 08:16 PM.

Re: Vizio M60-C3 Image Issues
My guess is either bad tcon board or bad panel....
