Re: UN55D6000 Blinking Standby Light
Next time ,When you have the power supply removed look on the back foil side at ZD585 to connector that goes to the main board there is a code on the three legged SMD. I cant read mine. What is the code? I have a service manual but no shematic or parts list for parts on the board were provided.
Thanks

Re: UN55D6000 Blinking Standby Light
You may run into uniformity issues by mixing led brands. Like I said above if I can verify the repair on my end I can mail you out some and you can try the same thing.
Hope to get to it in the next few days...Leave a comment:

Re: UN55D6000 Blinking Standby Light
I found these LEDs at http://store.comet.bg/en/Catalogue/Product/17108/
from 15 to 18 cents each depending on how many you buy. I think I will buy about 20 and seeif they work out then i could buy more/Attached FilesLeave a comment:

Re: UN55D6000 Blinking Standby Light
I can try to measure the dimensions. The other clue for my string anyway is the 6.5k designation which is probably colour temp. I measured 3.6v across one in operation. That's about all I got.
I have probably 75 or so good leds so depending on how this repair goes I can probably apportion some out.Leave a comment:

Re: UN55D6000 Blinking Standby Light
Do you have the dimensions? you may be able to install 2 or 3 LEDs that are not the same since the circuit uses constant current source, so you get the highest rating you can get, the Vf will be close enough so the total voltage drops on the string will be about the same (instead of bypassing the bad LED), just have to find one that fits the footprint.

Re: UN55D6000 Blinking Standby Light
If the strips are next to impossible to get. Is there a part # for just one led so they can be ordered? I have a TV that I might tear down as you have. I just don't want to take it that far apart if Mouser or Digi-Key don't have the individual LEDs.Could buy in Bulk to save some moneyLeave a comment:

@Ltank - there are no markings anywhere on the leds including underneath.Leave a comment:

Re: UN55D6000 Blinking Standby Light
You can pop them off with a knife. I'm going to use thermal glue to cement good ones back in place and jumpers to wire them together.
Won't be for a couple of days but will update my thread with a progress reportLeave a comment:

Re: UN55D6000 Blinking Standby Light
Just got off phone with J & J international about those led strips. they are the international dist. for Samsung parts. They do not have nor can get them. Can you believe that? What happened to the gov. requirement that all mfg's had to keep parts on hand for 10 years after it was made? It makes me sick they don't want you to repair anything anymore.Leave a comment:

Re: UN55D6000 Blinking Standby Light
Part no. on led strip with 100 led's is 2011svs55-fhd-5k6k right--if any find the supply source I would like to know. I really think these led's open up and is the source of the blinking light problems we're having. They are almost impossible to replace one at a time. They are wired in series and one goes out they all go out. result blinking light. this set I'm working on is un55d6050tfxza samsungLeave a comment:

Now that you removed the Led from the strip. Are there any part numbers etc on it to by replacement LEDs ?Leave a comment:

Re: UN55D6000 Blinking Standby Light
After you get the bezel off you need to lay the set flat. Remove all the screws around the perimeter. Then you need to pull up the panel backing gently while releasing the clips that are also around the perimeter. The metal backing contains the led strips. Pay attention to the black bead holding some of the layers together during reassembly; I suspect this is the cause of flashlighting so make sure the layers are bonded by gently pushing on that bead all the way around.
It's not what I would call "fun" but it's doable, especially if you've been inside one or another before.Leave a comment:

Hi-these post I have been reading describes my set perfectly. I have model un6050d samsung 55inch .i changed both ps and main panels so I am assuming I have bad led ckt. Can you tell me how big of job getting to led's to wok on them?Leave a comment:

Re: UN55D6000 Blinking Standby Light
I can't say for sure but it looks like these led's on the strips are secured with thermal glue. If I place an exacto knife edge on and apply some force I can pop the sucker off the board in one piece. I've ordered some thermal glue as I only have thermal paste atm. When it gets here I will see about making a proper type repair.Leave a comment:

by mecha1166I am working on a QN750Q8FNBFXZA. Dead except the standby light. It blinks what appears to be 1 3 1 2. 1 long blink, pause, 3 short, pause, 1 long, pause, 2 short, pause, repeat. A service manual would be very helpful, or if anyone knows these error codes. Thanks!

Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power... -

by AleMontiHi everyone,
I'm trying to troubleshoot and repair this old LG OLED curved TV, model 55EG910V.
I did some basic troubleshooting and reviewed most related posts here, but I wasn't able to isolate the issue.
The TV shut itself off during playback and never came back to life - the standby light remains off. My dad claims that it has happened a few times in the past but the issue resolved itself after some time. Not this one.
After checking the basics I did the following:- I measured all voltages and as expected the only active supply is the 3.5V standby. It

I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?. No picture or backlight on LCD. I thought about removing diodes like in this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...sung-qled-q60r... - Loading...
