Heating up the power supply definitely gets rid of the issue. So does this mean there's something wrong on the power supply, or bad caps on the TCON?

Here's some more pics of it. The whole bar ticks downward until it's gone completely and then the picture is perfect afterwards. I noticed that it happens now whenever it's been unplugged. I used it for about a week without ever seeing this and I didn't unplug it during that time.
Edit: I'm kind of wondering if it could be a tcon issueLast edited by x_orange90_x; 01-13-2024, 11:51 PM.

Here's a picture of it... But do note, the whole bar DOES move downward in slight increments like a screensaver.

So I turned it on tonight and it was doing something strange. See the attached video. The bar was moving down just like a no signal box would. I did a factory reset and it didn't do it again. What could this be?Attached Files

It'd probably be updated anyway. Vizio is bad at keeping their tvs updated so the last update was probably years ago.

If it works fine without an update, there's probably no great need to update.

I ordered a board. Should be here sometime next week. When it comes, considering the tv is fixed, should I update it if it's outdated? Or should I not take that gamble?
