Another quick question, the old/better style design, had a button on the right of each post that did not show the posts of members on my ignore list but had an option to show the post, that was a pretty nifty feature, is that still available, if not will it be coming back?

I don´t have the skils to downgrade.
My first pictures of the testscreen was not taken directly,
but at an angle so it was difficult to see the right part of the screen .
The right side was dark then.
I tried to heat at the "inlet" to the screen, but no succes I tried harder hotter ,and melted a part of the screen.

my english is not good, i tried to tell you to heat the tabs,.not the screen, but.if the tabs are not accessible is a waste.of time.. i see a black plate around panel boards, is that plastic? Tell me if you manage to.remove that strange plate, maybe is a "test field" panel now.. but not worh much spending money on it maybeComment

I have an HP model : 14-cf0011nf and I want to change its display screen (it has an original 14" full HD TN 30 pins panel) which works without problem but I want to put another screen with an IPS panel, the problem is that I tried several screens but there is no display except with the original screen, I never had this problem before I changed hundreds without problems but this PC is not 'accepted than its original screen
otherwise on the motherboard it displays edp and I don't know, do the panels I tried only work with the LVDS protocol?

I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.
Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

i have a 65 Panasonic TX-65HX710E using vestel 17MB170 main and Lg tcon.
Few drops of water fell probably near COF and have no display. Tried removing tabs but no.part of display present as if tcon fuse open. However 12v is present and tcon can be felt warm enough that supplies are present. Backlight and sound ok.
Anyone knows if this TCon 6870c-0805A has any special test pins for rgb test?

This is my latest mission, to try getting this Sony tv back to normal working order…
I've only just got it today, when you power it up everything is as should be, in fact it works perfectly for a few minutes then the screen starts getting horizontal lines on & eventually the full screen goes back, I will upload photos of the problem & also some photos of the board etc. You might notice that I'm busy trying the tape method, I'm not sure exactly where the clock lines are so I'm just guessing & hoping for the best lol . I've already tried... -
My Oled Tv is 55inch tv, 3 days ago I notice that middle of the screen is getting warmer and on picture I have ghosting, missing red color. Color red was still displaying, but it was not so strong as corners of the screen and watching some movies makes me angry.
Then I get an idea to take it apart and clean boards from dust.
In side of Tv was not so bad, I take compressed air in can, and gently blow up.
Also I was thinking to styrofoam sponge to isolate power board from screen that the middle of the screen will not worm so much. Because Led on screen when gets higher...
