Vizio 60" E601I-A3 no display have sound

I came across a Vizio 60” LED HDTV that doesn’t display a picture. The TV turn on fine, meaning backlight turns on, and the TV stay power on. But no picture, I was able to get sound using one of the HDMI input.

So I will say the main-board is functioning. So I move to the T-CON board and check the fuse, it check out to be good. I measure +12 volts coming in and out and it measure zero ohm. I started checking the caps on the T-CON board for voltages and got none. I also check for voltage on what I thought to be voltage regulators, I only found +12 volts on the tabs of the regulators.

The +12v stop at the tabs of the two regulators, nothing on the outer pins.
need help identifying these regulators OR part type
    smd marking are: B2 Y219

        IC Chip p/n: S24C12
        8C3VK8

The other is a AO4854 dual N channel FET

There is a Maxim chip, MAX9684 I can't find any datasheet for it,

I'm wondering if those aren't regulator, maybe FETS? Im going to remove the
two chips B1 and B2 and see what my multi-meter can tell me.

The Maxim IC's likely a custom gamma IC, something like this:

Hmm, none of these turn up a datasheet and they seem like proprietary ICs. If true, you may not have any option but to purchase a replacement t-con?

If a replacement t-con is around $40, it might be worth the gamble for a 60 inch TV?

If the T-CON board was available for less then $80.00 I will have made a purchase, but there isn't any available on eBay, Shopjimmy or on any other TVs parts website.

I see some crack screen Vizio 60" E601I-A3 and A seller on eBay offering to fix this T-CON board but the price is a little high.

It looks like about power circuit, the power ic MAX17140 may shut down the whole T-con power supple because of self-protection maybe.
Did you measure the volts with FFC connection or without?

Yes, the circuit is dead, only +12volts on the tab of B1 transistor. I'm not sure what is the function of MAX17140, can't find any datasheet. Im doing some circuit tracing to better understand what going on

I am in the exact same boat.....

                              MAX9684 is a microcontroller it seems - http://www.xeltek.com/device_lists/MAXIM/MAX9684/

None of the chips are getting 5v power supply -

MAX17140 seems to be a power management module - http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/...XvsAjpSw%3d%3d

But all the chips need a 5v Vcc to operate and i cant find which regulator is responsible for the 5v bus.

MAX9864 is most likely to be a gamma voltage reference

I have attached a picture of a regulator that may be suspect - I see 12v on one pin and gnd on tab - but the output pin (noted in blue) also shows 12v.

The regulator is marked as X7W 16 (16 is printed sideways). Anyone know what that is?
