Already did, 333, or around that sadly enough. Damn, well now we know it wasn't those caps either. Any suggestions?

Hmm, I just found SM for your set, if it helps:-
      http://www.tgohome.com/ServiceManual...&Search=Submit

OK, can you find C881? It'll be near one of these:
      http://circuits.datasheetdir.com/39/NCV317-pinout.jpg
but not bolted to the heatsink, globbed down.

When you find C881 measure the voltage across it.

Re: Finlux 32FLD760P with Vestel 17PW20.v1

I think I found it, in the middle of the board. If looked at from the picture, furthest left and middle is -95v and right is -88v, but that is when I measure with chassis as ground. Or do you want me to do it some other way?

I used the red pin from the DMM, so I'm guessing it's supposed to be negative?

Edit. Here's a picture http://sparedparts.com/images/made/1...850_540_90.JPG. Mine had waaaaay more glob on it, couldn't reach pins very well.

You need to measure across it. That is the right area.

So like, pin 1 and 2, pin 1 and 3? I'll give it a try. Should the tv be on or standby?

              Across C881.
              TV must be ON.

Sorry, it's just that the term measure across get's a little conflicted in translation, especially since I'm not very used to using the DMM

Edit. Would 6.8v be correct? I'm not really sure I'm meassuring this one right, it's really hard to see and reach too with the glob stuff around.

Positive DMM probe on positive leg of C881, negative DMM probe on negative lead of C881.

Your English is better than my Swedish. I know of approximately zero Swedish words.

Haha well, that because English is compulsory in schools

I measured 5.7v, I think, could be 5.1v too, the last digit on the DMM doesn't light up good enough but it's definitely 5v

Edit. It's 5.7v, figured I could change settings on the DMM.

That's too low. I think it should be at least 9~10V, preferably more.

Edit: according to this calculator it should be 12.6V:
                      http://www.electronics-lab.com/articles/LM317/ (input 1k and 9.1k)

If the ON/OFF signal is on, it will drop to about 1.2V, but that's not what we are seeing, it's half way between the two.

Next step, do you think it's possible to measure between pin 1 and 2 of the LM317? Pin 1 is the leftmost pin, looking at the front of the device.

Wait, I think I did it the other way around. When measuring the leftmost pin it measures 1.2v?

If you look at the picture I linked, is pin 1 to the left or right when it's put in that way?

OK, IC811 crosses primary to secondary. On the two primary pins what voltage do you measure across them?

You need to measure the voltage between the two closest pins on the primary side.

The schematic I am working off.

It's awful, such a mess, and the PFC controller is apparently a MOSFET, I guess that was a readily available footprint and they were too lazy to change it...

                                            Hi,
Got a Finlux 65-FUC-8060 TV that doesn't turn on, 5V standby present from PSU, 3.3V on mainboard present, button signal gets pulled low when pressed, but mainboard never sends signal to PSU to turn main rails on.
I suspect corrupt firmware but I haven't been able to find anything for this TV.
                                            TV model: Finlux 65-FUC-8060
                                            Mainboard: Vestel 17MB130S 23473048
                                            Panel: VES650QNTS-2D-U11

At the very least looking for a firmware that can make it turn on to confirm the problem, and hopefully a firmware that's compatible with the panel.

Hello all, I've been looking into this portable air conditioner's remote control and can't find what could be causing the problem - or possibly this remote is just terribly designed.

The remote only works at exactly 3V - if I drop it any lower, using my bench power supply, to say, 2.9V then the remote will not flash the display and turn off. I don't have any AAA batteries that are exactly 1.5V each so I'm not sure if this remote is designed this way - to only use the freshest possible batteries, or if there's a failed component in the mix.

                                            I can't find any schematics...

The TV was stuck on the logo and I couldn't access the update menu.
I couldn't find the firmware for the Hitachi 32HAE2351 and updated it with the Toshiba 32WA2063DG - Vestel 17MB171 firmware.
The image result was good, but the image is inverted.
The image rotation/mirror function doesn't exist in the Menu Server. I can't correct the image.
Do you have the firmware for the Hitachi 32HAE2351 - Vestel 17MB171 motherboard or a solution to rotate the image in...

                                            Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help my in pairing a remote with a Toshiba fire tv?
The Tv model number is: 50lf711u20 Rev B.

I've already replaced all the the circuit boards within the tv along with the I.R. sensor receiver.

I've tried 3 different remotes which should be fully compatible with this TV.

Oddly enough. A few if the buttons on all of the remotes actually work. Even without pairing...which makes no sense.

The power button, along with the volume, back, select, and directional...

Hi! I have this TV set that does the following:
                                            1) I press the red power button on the remote
                                            2) The TV turns on normally
                                            3) After that it won't take any other command from the remote, neither power off, volume, channel, NOTHING
                                            4) We need to either pull the main cable or use the built in button at the bottom to select funcion OFF

Then after it's off, it would again accept the TURN ON from the remote and same again

                                            BUT:
-The remote does show the correct IR beam while observed thru a phone camera
-The TV works fine while using the MiRemote...
