HiSense 55A7500F won't obbey to remote after power on

Hi! I have this TV set that does the following:
    1) I press the red power button on the remote
    2) The TV turns on normally
    3) After that it won't take any other command from the remote, neither power off, volume, channel, NOTHING
    4) We need to either pull the main cable or use the built in button at the bottom to select funcion OFF

Then after it's off, it would again accept the TURN ON from the remote and same again

    BUT:
-The remote does show the correct IR beam while observed thru a phone camera
-The TV works fine while using the MiRemote App in Xiaomi (power on, off, volume, channel, input, etc...)
-There is no pinhole RESET button in the back of the TV (neither sides, nowhere)
-There are no switches/pushbuttons at all under the battery cover of the remote

I want to try a full TV factory reset but I need the remote to work, and the Xiaomi MiRemote emulates all buttons correctly except the OK button, which does nothing (this happens to me on other emulated remotes) so I have no way to enter into the setup option.

Anyone can suggest anything to try?

    Thanks in afvance!

Hi! Can you please explain more in detail what app you mean?
Is this an Hisense app that lets you point at screen menus?

      Thanks

for android there are many free apps in store like Galaxy universal remote... but you wrote you are using one on xiaomi only no OK puttom.. so use it and use mouse for OK command.

by the way yours TV okay... no fault.. the fault at Hisense RC. and this knowing issue... since TV work on other IR RC app.. mean its fine.. but the original RC weak and didn't send the code correct. take out battery press power on RC for 1 minute to discharge.... open it and clean the carbon point of it as it collect Oil / dust and the Resistances of the buttons will be change so it start send different code

Ok so you mean use a normal wired USB mouse into the USB port and use it to click "OK"?
Also about the IR, if this remote is wrong, why does it work for turning the TV on and 1 second later it does not work for turning the TV off? How does the remote know that the TV is on and stop working? This is what I don't understand.
I did remove the batteries for a while and nothing changed

          Thanks!

well i am not sure if the original remote of A7500 build in on the top Microphone to guide the TV with voice command... if its so then you have at setting to disable or enable this function

Does seem like your remote is dirty or shot, try a different universal remote.

Is the remote control Bluetooth? The Bluetooth remote control can be used only if it is paired successfully

Re: HiSense 55A7500F won't obbey to remote after power on

Ok I managed to plug a USB keyboard to it and was able to enter into the menu and select a factory reset. This changed nothing
Also I opened the remote and throroughfully cleaned all contacts (board side and rubber button side) and IC pins with alcohol, and I found it extremely clean before so I guess this changed nothing but I will try this later on today
I still resist to believe the remote is the problem. How can the remote work for turning on and then when the TV is ON it doesnt work anymore, then I turn the TV off by the panel button and the remote works again to turn on...
                      Thanks

Sure, it's very possible that the only part of remote thats working is on/off.

Grab a replacement from ebay, got one from ebay for my old dvd/vcr player a while ago, worked fine every button, think it was about 9 dollars.

Not the case, check the whole post, when the TV is off the PWR button works to turn the TV ON, but when the TV is ON the PWR button doesn't work and won't turn the TV off.

All buttons work correctly when seen from a phone camera

For some reason Im afraid a replacement remote won't help. Idk...

Did read the whole thread, just because all buttons are emitting a signal doesn't mean the signal is correct, have had more than a few remotes that emit signal but just didn't work.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                          Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                                          Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74 power issue

                                          Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...
