is it possible that transistor switch is bad? like Q5609 or Q5605 or Q5606 ?

OK, so the device is not being turned on. The VGS is 0V.
The power on signal disappears into the main processor IC1100.
Right now I would be considering replacing the main board unless something else faulty can be determined.

Did I miss something, or you get no +17V when power comes up (relay clicks?)
Using a resistor we could try forcing on power to PSU to see if it works.

Yes you are true there is no 17V, what do you think shoud i try to force it up with resistor?

OK, this is the connection I suggest:

Pin (1 or 2) to 5, connect a wire between them (no resistor.)
Pin (1 or 2) to 6, also a wire (board has built in 1k resistor, no need to use one externally.)
            Pin (1 or 2) to 15, connect a 470~4.7k ohm resistor.

PSU should power up, +9V, +17V, +24V should all work, along with standby rail +5.6V.

Sorry if I wasn't clear but you need to disconnect the connector from the A board and see if you can get the PSU to work this way.

Sorry my mistake, i tested it and it worked, but i don't have 9V on #11 and #12. All other voltages are OK (+24, +5.6,) And i can hear some strange sound like electric breaking, it is not loud, but you can hear that something is wrong. I think it is coming from reley or coil. and when i plug it out, i hear short whimpering.

                  I use 1.15kOhm resistor.

                    Is +17V good?

The +9V is generated from a sub DC-DC converter so this is likely the cause of the fault.

OK, see the image. If anything in the image disagrees with what you measure, say so.

A voltage "when on" in this case indicates the jumper connections have been made, you can measure the standby 5.6V with the jumper in place.

The ground should be chassis of TV with PSU board installed and all screws fastened.

Ok, if there were 24V on the 9V I would say the main board would be damaged quickly, I guess it must be going into over-voltage protection (good idea from Panasonic, I guess.) I hope it hasn't been damaged but it is likely OK.

The +9V is generated from the +24V by IC854. What is the part # on IC854?

Does capacitor C850 get very hot when it is jumpered across?

Hmm, no result for that part number "MPD7S002".

Can you please double check it, if you cannot get hold of it you will need to find a way to give TV the +9V it needs (possibly by substituting in an additional supply, e.g. this one on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-LM2596...item231ed973f5) or by replacing the power supply.

Ugh, yeah, I've seen those before. Ugly hybrid modules you can't buy from anywhere which Panasonic likes to use a lot. I don't know why they use them. Must be a good reason for it.

I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

                                            Hi everyone,

I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.

Just for context: I'm used to building PCs and installing modchips in old consoles, but this is my first time trying to fix a TV. I'm French, and while my English is okay, I'm using ChatGPT to help translate and clarify my messages as much as possible — so please forgive any odd phrasing.

I'm also not very experienced with using a multimeter, but I'm very motivated and ready to follow instructions carefully and report...

Caps and num lock blink 4 times
                                            by AdrenalinTL
I am sitting with a very similar issue.

Basically, had a probook that worked, gave it to someone, they returned it DOA. what the heck happened, I have no idea.

Caps and num lock blink 4 times, as per HP, thats a board failure. I am very new to this, so perhaps I should be posting a new thread?

Anyway, I resoldered the bios chip on after trying EVERYTHING else including reseating ram, cpu etc.

Multimeter shows 19.5V on power, so I presume thats correct. Fan spins, no display. No post. Bios chip looks good from what I can tell just not sure how...

                                            (Another) 7 BLINK TC-P60VT60 Panasonic - NEWBIE

Greetings from SoCal I am new to this forum but not new to forum world. I come from Automotive end of side which is my main passion in life. Give the automotive nature, I love fixing and restoring things and I have in the past fixed many simple electronics, soldering, etc.. but this is a bit more involved so I found this forum, and I am very glad I did.

I picked up a Panasonic TC-P60VT60 with the 7 BLINK error.
Upon removing the back plate I found spider webs, dead spiders, and an amazing amount of dust. I did my best to clean the surface of the boards with a portable vacuum...

Sony KDL-55W802A - Red led blink 8 times
                                            by Smartec82
                                            Hi,
I have this tv that works for about 15 to 20 minutes and then turns off, leaving the led to blink 8 times, this via HDMI, because I can't get into the tuning menu, it says Function unavailable.
Through the manual, I was able to verify that it could be a software problem, but unfortunately the tv already has the latest software and that's why it won't let me update.
Does anyone know of a way to reinstall the software?
