panasonic TX-P50V10E 6 blink led problem

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.

Just for context: I'm used to building PCs and installing modchips in old consoles, but this is my first time trying to fix a TV. I'm French, and while my English is okay, I'm using ChatGPT to help translate and clarify my messages as much as possible — so please forgive any odd phrasing.

I'm also not very experienced with using a multimeter, but I'm very motivated and ready to follow instructions carefully and report back with results as soon as possible.

ok, here we go :

The screen doesn't turn on at all, but I do hear some clicking sounds from the relays when I plug it in, so something is trying to start up.

I've done a bit of research, but now I'm lost and not sure how to proceed.

Here's what I've observed:

• When I disconnect the power cable in the green circle (going to the left board, TNPA4782AF, marked in blue), I get a 7 blink error.
• When I disconnect the power cable in the orange circle (going to the right board, TNPA4783AF, marked in red), I get the original 6 blink error.

From what I understand, this could mean the right board (TNPA4783AF) is faulty, since when it's disconnected, the error doesn't change.

I've carefully inspected both boards but didn't find any visible damage (no blown capacitors, burnt areas, etc.).

Could the issue still come from the power supply board in the center, or something else entirely?

If anyone has the time to guide me or suggest some next steps (like voltages to check), I'd really appreciate the help!

i wanted to edit but seems like i cant now, sorry for double post.

i've just removed the right card and redone the pads because they were trimed, but nothing changed.

i've also noticed there is a green led fading after some seconde near a blue capacitor marked with a red "here" above

thanks for your link, it confirm the my problem is from one of the 3 boards. Any help to identify the origin and how to fix it ?

Not worth the effort, this plasma uses 590 watts, the typical 50 inch led tv uses 72 watts.

There are different theories on the subject, I believe the group that says global warming is causing most of the extreme weather that has been going on in the last number of years. At least 28 killed by tornadoes yesterday in the U.S. And that's just one day. It doesn't make sense to keep these heavy old dinosaurs going, big energy hogs and only able to display 1080p. It's true a lot of them lasted quite a while but from what I have seen, once they get old, you fix one thing then another goes soon after. No doubt because they run hot and work hard so after all that time something has to give out. Also hard to find new parts that are not counterfeit and used boards are all going to be old and probably nearly worn out too.
