Can someone please confirm that 3x blinking standby LED is related to a 12V issue. I´m not absolutly sure about this and would like to hear this from an expert.

So, some quick checks on that connector going to main board:
5.2V good?
12V good?
24V good?

5.2v(standby) is 3.3V. Like you mentioned before this might be for power saving reason.
12V and 24V are 0v
PS-ON is same as standby ~1 sec after plugging in the TV. With no main board attached, PS-ON is 0VLast edited by Mr_K; 01-19-2013, 02:35 PM.Comment

Yes it is 1.25V rated so that is good, re-install it, we need to look elsewhere. Since it is at 1.25V the PSU is in regulation so the output -should- be 3.3V. With the 100Ohm resistor still in place (between standby and PS-ON) both pins are at 3.0VComment

I've been encountering some perplexing issues with my ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1660 Ti Gaming OC and am seeking insights or potential solutions from the community.
Symptoms:
Initially experienced a gradient-style black screen from the top.
Poor performance: ~10 FPS on the lock screen.
Encountered artifacts followed by black screens.
After addressing a PSU-related problem, still observed a performance drop (~10 FPS).
Upon using GPU-Z:
Memory size shows as 0MB.
Unknown bus width and bandwidth reported.... -
Hi all,
I have a CRT (Acorn AKF12, based on the 240V version of the Philips CM8500) which has stopped working. It's making a high pitched noise but not too high. I know this is symptom of a faulty flyback.
What happens when a flyback fails? I see that the main voltages out of the PSU are not reaching rated values, as if there is a short.
There are supposed to be 125V/26.5V/15.5V outputs but I am reading something like 48V, 10V and 8V. If I unplug the PSU from the rest of the PCB, I can measure the expected values.
Can it be a short somewhere... -
Board had no history of liquid; unsure of drop history, but no signs of damage of any kind worth noting.
Charger sitting at 5v/0a. PPBUS is at 1.9v-0.9v steady cycle (peaks, drains, loops). Confirmed CHGR_EN_MVR is missing, but DCIN was reaching ISL just fine, so replaced ISL--no change at all. Confirmed pp3v8_aon is also missing--and being unsure *exactly* which signal appears first (or if they are simultaneous), I inspected PMU/U8100 area and found no shorts, but also found PP3V8_AON_MPMU_ISNS_VIN missing (not shorted). Replaced U8100 just in case (have had them fail in weird ways),... -
Hi everyone,
I recently acquired this card from a seller who was selling a PowerMac G5 for parts. He mentioned that the video card was probably broken too.
Upon closer inspection, I can tell the reason why it won't work: it's missing a bunch of CAPS! (it's also missing an inductor - 1.0uH).
It's a nice card as it's one of the few AGP cards that will support 2560 x 1600 resolution on a PowerMac G5 using a 30" Cinema Display.
Looking at the card, it appears to be missing the following:
1x 1.0uH inductor - orange square
2x... -
Got this card out of a box of old electronics and am hoping there's a way to fix it, when i found it i put it in one of my desktops and it displays a kinda static like bars of color. so upon further inspection i noticed that it is missing a choke and a capacitor, and the other choke is cracked and there's a piece of it missing. im pretty good with smd soldering and i looked around quite a bit but cant seem to find what the part numbers of the missing components are. if anybody could help me out with this that would be great. the part number of the card is P/N 102A4900103 15931211-14-2025, 04:48 PM
