Re: Samsung ue46d6200 fails to start
I do not know anything about the history of the TV.
Do you think this might be software or hardware related? Im wondering if an eeprom reset might help here? On the other hand, the tv boots up fine and reboots itself after that.

Re: Samsung ue46d6200 fails to start
Thx tibimakai. I´ve already tried that. For testing, i used the mainboard of an UE40D..... tv. With this board, the tv is working fine. I think it is def. a problem with the main PCB.

Samsung ue46d6200 fails to start
Hi,
here i have a faulty Samsung ue46d6200. The problem is, that the TV won´t boot/or stay on. After switching the TV on I can see the picture for about half a second. After that the TV "reboots" itself. The standby LED flashes 4 times. Than the Backlight comes on for maybe half a second and the tv restarts again. This is an endless loop.
I have narrowed down the problem to the Main PCB. Its an BN41-01606C.
Does anyone know if the is a fixable problem? Maybe someone has had a similar problem? A replacement PCB is quite expensive at the moment so i´d like...

Re: Faulty Philips PSU (715g5246-p01-000-002s )
This one is realy realy hard to find. Especialy with the exact same config as mine. The model number is always the same, but there are different (more) components and false plugs on the board....

Re: Faulty Philips PSU (715g5246-p01-000-002s )
Thank you mr20123e!
R9332 is fine. It´s 2.4Ohms
My intention with adding external 5.2V: To test the rest of the PSU....

Re: Faulty Philips PSU (715g5246-p01-000-002s )
I have some spare time again. So budm, have you done some thinking?
I tried to supply 5v from an external PSU. I made a cut after D9308 and added 5.2V. Still the PSU is not working.
Lets assume there is another problem on the board.
What are the IC 9801 and 9101 doing. Would be nice if anyone can explain this.
Thank you and happy sunday...

Re: Faulty Philips PSU (715g5246-p01-000-002s )
When i remove pin 9+10 of T9301 there are still 1V betwenn bin 1+3 and 2 of D9308.
Where is this coming from????Last edited by Mr_K; 05-13-2013, 12:25 PM.

Re: Faulty Philips PSU (715g5246-p01-000-002s )
----All other components are back in place.----
No i mean R9301! Sorry for the confusion. With R301 removed there are 9.5V on Pin4 and 0.33V on the 5.2V Standby pin (connector). No matter if Zeer ZD9303 is in or out......

Larger cap means lower voltage on pin4.
R9301 Shows 5.3ohms and 4.8 when pulled up

With C9334 removed, i only get 0.4V......strange......

All the mentioned caps are fine. I have nothing attached to the 5.2V connector.
Pin 5 VCC is 11.75V

Re: Faulty Philips PSU (715g5246-p01-000-002s )
I know. I´v checked the Voltage on the shorted opto. It cycles, too. Will check those Caps next.
What filter Caps do you mean exactly?

It cycles with the pins shorted

Re: Faulty Philips PSU (715g5246-p01-000-002s )
Ok, when i short Pin 1 and 2 of opto IC9303, the voltage rises up to 5.7V and immediatly falls to 1.4V. and rises again. This repeats as long as the pins are shorted.
Edit: Sorry! Forgot to put the zener bach in place. Will try again....
Edit2: Ok, with the Zener back in place and the extra 3K3 removed, voltage comes up to 4.5v and drops to 1.5->4.5->1.5-> etcLast edited by Mr_K; 05-10-2013, 09:46 AM.
