could someone look at the pdf page 27 standby circuit 1c903
these are the voltages i am getting
pin 1 3.29
pin 2 3.29
pin 3 gnd
pin 4 1.17
pin 5 0.78
its a sc156515m-1 8tr
have checked c912 +have 3.12 volts
right ic902
with tab at the top
pin 1 left 0.00
centre 0.11
pin 3 4.66
az1117h-2.5tr/e1
just worked out pin 1 is gnd
pin 2 is output
pin 3 is input
still got no ledS on the front of set at all ?

any idea what ic902 does just looked at pdf looks like output should be 2.5 volts?
so it looks like i have
4.66 input
0.11 output
output goes to +2.5v ddr-ctz whats that?
also where does the voltage to light the leds come from?

right whilst i am trying to locate the correct main board i thought i would sort out the old power supply as in post 53 which budm was helping me test voltages etc right accros the capacitor as in your pdf test ponts its 13.8 volts and between the other two test points its 2.4v
i have checked and the board still has the 2x5volts present nothing else on any of the out put voltages even with a 1k resistor as a load.
also i cant locate the correct main board with the same ebr number on but i have found a lg42lc46 mines a lg32lc46 would you guys take a gamble on it working ok?
as its out of a 10inch larger lcd would the picture still be ok? could i alter it in the sets on board service mode?

Mainboard should be okay if model & panel is the same. Is your LCD panel an LG Philips?
Is there an ACD pin?

right new mainboard has just arrived put it into set now i have the red standby light come on i press the remote changes to green after flashing 6 times nothing on the screen whatsoever no sound only a slight speaker pop as it comes out of standby any ideas guys all voltages on board are spot on as per board markings screen does not even flash any idea what 6 green led flashes mean?
this board is out of the exact model even same ebr numbers.

My TV flashes LED five times when it switches on, I think that just means "warming up" or something, so try checking all your connectors are good e.g. backlight cables, T-con, power.

still nothing just rechecked voltages one says 3.4-on on the psu reads 0 volts in standby 2.00 volts when green light stops flashing this is the only voltage on the psu reading low

This probably your problem check soldering for cap 2200u 10V(?)

remember tom66 this is not my own psu this is one i purchased so this one i am using now still got old samyoung caps in although none look bulging i will get my old unrepairable psu and swop to the panasonic ones which i put in it.
I have been looking at the main board - there are two switches and a large jumper
- any idea what these do - does it say on the case back or inside the case back.
Could not spot anything in the SM
I wouldnt go swapping your parts over just yet until you have properly found out what it supplying to your mainboard. If you have bought it as working then the last thing you want to do is end up with 2 power supply's in bits
Fixed so far : 1 Home cinema system, 16 LCD Monitors, 4 LCD TV's

cant see a jumper? the 2 switches no sure but bottom 1 when pressed justs seems to reset the set (starts red flashes green 5 times then nothing on screen) my old psu was no good ie only 2x5 volts present none others just swopped all caps over now just going to try it.
